"Eagle Strike, fourth book in Alex Rider series. Bet most of you have read these already, but if you haven't I'd recommend them. This is my second (or is it third) time through and they're just as exciting hence the very quick read time. Although the books are quite thick there's not a lot of text per page and they are quick reads. In this book Sabina's (Alex's love interest) dad is severly injured in an explosion whilst on holiday in France. Alex is staying with them and spots the contract killer Yassen Gregorovich, this leads Alex to a bull fight and a deadly scene on Air Force One. Won't say too much to spoil plot but Alex finds out some very disturbing news about his father."

" Alex Rider goes after a famous rock star who has developed a deadly video game. Alex is such a likable character and the villain so evil, with a good veneer. This book seems a bit stronger in the series, with surprising twists and turns that kept me curious as to what would happen next. I was listening to it on audio with my son but got so hooked I took it on my commute and while I cleaned house. He had to catch up after school! "
— Natalie, 2/14/2014" Excellent read... moves along very nicely .. Develops the overall Alex Rider story line nicely "
— Jayson, 2/9/2014" THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK I READ IN THE SERIES. I DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS A PART OF A SERIES UNTIL I WAS DONE. FAST READ EXCITING. I KNOW IT'S MORE OF A KID BOOK, BUT ENJOYED IT ANY WAY. I PLAN TO GO BACK AND READ THE PREVIOUS BOOKS. "
— Melissa, 2/7/2014" I was a little disappointed with this book. I had read the others and really enjoyed them but felt this let Alex Rider down. Hopefully the next one is much better! "
— Lee, 2/3/2014" Alex Rider is a pretty good series. The series is for young s or children, the plots are fun to follow but not as innovative. The characters are interesting but could be easily seen as stereotypes. "
— Cuinn, 1/28/2014" I am loving these out of all proportion. "
— Mary, 1/26/2014" One of the best books in the series so far "
— Bailey, 1/12/2014" I would recommend this book to anyone that likes the Alex Rider series. It is definitely an edge of your seat kind of book. Anthony Horowitz makes the book so interesting you can actually see it in your mind as you read the book. It is one of the most interesting one of the series so far, I think. "
— Tyler, 1/11/2014" THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! I NEED THE NEXT BOOK!!!!! "
— Cecilia, 1/10/2014" I thought the book was ok - how many people can Alex meet and defeat who are trying to destroy the world. At lease now he has a girl friend who knows who he is. I like how the author feeds us more pieces of Alex's fathers life and also allows Alex to be more violent. "
— John, 1/6/2014" Eagle Strike is a very good book the Alex Rider is a good series "
— Cdouceochoj, 12/23/2013" Alex Rider is still as awesome as ever in this action outing. Great for James Bond-style lovers. "
— Benjamin, 12/13/2013" Another winner from the wonderful pen of A Horowitz. Well how will he follow this? with another stunner I suspect. "
— Gillian, 12/11/2013" Hee hee! Really enjoying the Elton John-parody in this book! "
— RoadrunnerNM, 11/28/2013" In Eagle Strike alex has to go destroy this pop star named Damian Cray plan of using American long range nuclear missles to destroy countries from where drugs are coming from. "

— Collin, 7/9/2013" This book is a great fun and exciting adventure. I would recommend this book to any readers who love spy gadgets and amazing adventures. Before you read this book you shoul read the first three. (storm breaker, point blank, and skeleton key) "
— Brandon, 1/28/2013" Superb. This fourth book in the Alex Rider Series never let me put it down until the final shot. I cryed because I loved him. "
— Hannah, 1/9/2013" SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOD! "
— Roshni, 8/28/2012" I think this book is OK. I think its OK because its pretty much about a 14 year old james bond. i got a lot of those movies. i am very interested in books and movies about spies. So that is why i would recommend this book to anyone who is like me. "
— Julianbacke, 7/22/2012" Another great Alex Rider adventure. "
— Sabrina, 3/19/2012" awesome spy book "
— Evan, 3/8/2012" This book was awesome. It was action packed and had alot of imagination. I love the idea of a teen spie "
— Zeb, 11/6/2011" Another excellent book in the Alex Rider series. A bit of a change of pace for Alex, but all still exciting and (mostly) realistic. Not as memorable as the other stories in the series though. "
— Mark, 6/27/2011" This one was my absolute favorite. My favorite part was when Alex uses the snake(?) blood to fool the guards into letting him in. When he says that the spear and blood wouldn't have fooled a 3-year-old onstage,I just started laughing. "
— Lilly, 6/24/2011" Generally, I try not to start a series from the middle, but the library didn't have the first book. When I read it, not having read the first book didn't seem to matter much.
The plot was good, but the writing style wasn't quite as good as Eoin Colfer's in the AF Series. "
— Alice, 6/22/2011" I found the end of this book really sad for two main reasons:
1. - I don't know about anyone else but i liked Yassen, and him dying wasn't great.
And 2 - Also after Sabina left I had a few little tears in my eyes, and i felt kinda sorry for Alex. "
— Chesca, 6/12/2011" One of the best books in the series so far "
— Bailey, 6/2/2011" Fun little adventure. Granted, it may be a bit incredulous in parts, but maybe right now I want to believe in the incredulous. And if James Bond was ever a 14-year old kid, he would have been Alex Rider. "
— Calli, 5/28/2011" For what it is--a teenage adventure novel, it is really good. No, it doesn't provide any deep insights into your life, but it does have an interesting, fast-paced story line. I could see these books being great for reluctant readers. This one is my favorite of the series so far. "
— Hillari, 5/24/2011" Superb. This fourth book in the Alex Rider Series never let me put it down until the final shot. I cryed because I loved him. "
— Hannah, 5/20/2011" The only reason I keep reading this series is because I can asily read it on my phone. This one wasn't great, but at least I was reading. "
— Louise, 5/18/2011" This story threw me off after chapter 6, but still AMAZING SERIES. "
— Trandyna, 5/2/2011" Alex rider is off on another daring adventure again... "
