Louisa Clark is nothing extraordinary, just a simple girl living a simple life. Her boyfriend is steady, her family is close, and she has never ventured much outside of where she grew up. With her new job working for a mister know-it-all and do-it-all, Will Traynor, she could hardly have led a life in bigger contrast to his. Though Will has always lived in grand style -- a world traveler and entrepreneur -- he is now bound to a wheelchair after an accident.
Moody, arrogant, and acidic in his attitude, Will pushes Lou's buttons, but she refuses to coddle him, merely because he is in a wheelchair. Her tough love may change course when she learns that Will has some shocking plans for the future, for his happiness may mean more to her than she realized.
A true contemporary love story, this uncommon couple makes you wonder what you would do if making the person you love the most happy could also mean breaking your heart.

"This book was recommended to me by one of my book clubs. Based on the summary, I would not have read it, but so many of fellow readers loved it that I put I on my TBR list. I still had a couple months left on the wait list, but the local library in my hometown had it available. Because I am only here for a few days, I dedicated myself to reading it. It read surprisingly well. I was very connected to Will and Lou. I really appreciated the chapters from the alternate view points. I would recommend it to others, especially Nicholas Sparks fans."
