"This is my favorite Sarah Dessen book. It's just plain amazing, not that the others aren't as good. For some reason, this book just connected with me even though I have nothing in common with the main character and I got sucked into the book by the third chapter. "

" My third Sarah Dessen book, and while I really enjoyed the other two, I found this one difficult to get thru. It felt slow and dragging, to the point where there wasn't a tangible connection until about 300 pages in. I live Sarah Dessen's novels, but not this one. "

About Sarah Dessen
Sarah Dessen is the author of more than a dozen novels, including What Happened to Goodbye, a New York Times bestseller. Her first two books, That Summer and Someone Like You, were made into the movie How to Deal. Her books are frequently chosen for the top-ten list for teens and young adults. She is the winner of the Margaret A. Edwards Award for her contributions to young-adult literature and the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award. She graduated with highest honors in creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
