Edie is desperate to uncover Anomie’s true identity.

Robin decides that the agency can’t help with this—and thinks nothing more of it until a few days later, when she reads the shocking news that Edie has been tasered and then murdered in Highgate Cemetery, the location of The Ink Black Heart.

Robin and her business partner, Cormoran Strike, become drawn into the quest to uncover Anomie’s true identity. " If JK Rowling/Robert Galbraith thinks her fans deserve this she has disappeared into her own ego. No author, no matter how accomplished, is above editing and cutting, and there is no justification for the length of this book. Endless rambling social media extracts, with little apparent relevance, make for tedious reading. It was sheer bloody minded determination that I finished the book. It has, however, given me the confidence to tackle War and Peace. After The Ink Black Heart it should be a breeze. "

" The Ink Black Heart from Robert Galbraith (actually J. K. Rowling) and narrated by Robert Glenister is an outstanding audiobook that I highly recommend. The story, set in modern-day London, is a riveting mystery with plenty of twists and turns. Robert Glenister's voice acting brings each character to life, giving them distinct personalities and adding nuance that would be lost without him. The writing style is engaging and captivating; you're immediately drawn into the action from the very first scene. Furthermore, the plot development is tight and fast-paced; it never lags or drags on. The themes explored in this audiobook are dark and complex; they include power dynamics between characters, moral ambiguity, loyalty and betrayal, as well as justice versus revenge. These topics are all handled deftly by author Robert Galbraith who does a fantastic job of exploring them without coming off heavy-handed or preachy. What's more impressive is how he manages to keep the listener entertained at all times even when delving deep into these potentially difficult subjects. All in all, this audiobook is an enjoyable listen that combines brilliant storytelling with excellent production values. If you're looking for something new and exciting to listen to then I highly recommend The Ink Black Heart by Robert Galbraith and narrated by Robert Glenister! "
