Author Candace Bushnell

Candace Bushnell is the critically acclaimed, international bestselling author of Sex and the City, Summer and the City, The Carrie Diaries, One Fifth Avenue, Lipstick Jungle, Trading Up, and Four Blondes. Sex and the City, published in 1996, was the basis for the HBO hit series and two blockbuster movies. Lipstick Jungle also became the basis for a popular television series on NBC. She grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut, and has written for publications including Mademoiselle, Self magazine, and Esquire. She is the winner of the 2006 Matrix Award and a recipient of the Albert Einstein Spirit of Achievement Award.
