THE FIRST NOVEL IN LEE CHILD'S #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING JACK REACHER SERIES—NOW AN ORIGINAL SERIES ON PRIME VIDEO! “From its jolting opening scene to its fiery final confrontation, Killing Floor is irresistible.”—People Ex-military policeman Jack Reacher is a drifter. He’s just passing through Margrave, Georgia, and in less than an hour, he’s arrested for murder. Not much of a welcome. All Reacher knows is that he didn’t kill anybody. At least not here. Not lately. But he doesn’t stand a chance of convincing anyone. Not in Margrave, Georgia. Not a chance in hell.

"This is the first of the Jack Reacher novels and I read it fourth in the series. LOL My usual. It's premise is intriguing and the protaganist is very straight-forward. It's interesting how he thinks, but do military people with families really move THAT often? Not in my experience, but perhaps other services do that. In my experience, they tend to leave families in one place for longer periods of time. Nitpicking, I know, but there you are. If that's the most I can think of that seems off, then Mr. Child succeeds in creating a compelling protaganist and plot."

" Saw the TV show before listening to this book. Thank god I did because with the voice of the narrator I’m imagining a guy in his 60’s and Roscoe in her upper 20’s. With his voice and they way he loves on her made me think of Hugh Hefner with his playboy bunny 40 years younger than him. Love the story. Hate the narrator. "

" I love the Character and the way he is composed. The plot for me was edge of the seat, even though I walk long distances and listen......sometimes walking a little longer just to get to a point in the story where I can end for the day. Jack Reacher (Lee Childs) is a great story and I look forward to reading them all. "

" Lee Child is one of my favorite authors and his Jack Reacher character is the main reason. His writing is eminently readable and holds your interest throughout the story. Jack reacher, the main character embodies the qualities I think most people either aspire to or wish they already possessed. His attitude and willingness to put himself out there for his principles are truly inspirational. Sometimes the author may get carried away but overall Jack is one of the most interesting characters in modern action/adventure literature. Highly recommended. "

" Not a bad first effort. I don't mind the short, choppy sentences and first person narrative. The thing that irked me is the tendency of every character to end their sentence with the word "right?" Someone tell this British writer that we don't do that here. "
