"This is the first Reacher book since the very first book in the series that is told in the first person. There are few changes that make this book stand out from the rest but mostly they are superficial. The main baddie in this book is someone from Reacher's past, and the first one he hated going into. Most books he grows to the realization that he is going to kill the bad guy, but here he starts out from that point of view. One thing I really liked about the book is it had that isolation feel that my favorite book in the series had, Die Trying. Mostly set on a deserted coast of Maine. The book has trippy begining that will leave Reacher fans wondering what the hell is going on. But this is still a great action packed book for fans of action movies. It does stand out from the series as a whole, but not signifigantly."

— Mike, 12/24/2013" I loved the last book so my hopes were huge for this one but I was dissapointed. The story is rather basic and the characters surrounding Reacher are for the most part pretty boring even the villain doesnt do much for the excitement. Its a huge dissapointment and I am hoping for better in the future "
