So what if he's a bit older and usually regards a human female as dinner, not a dinner date? Yes, Roman Draganesti is a vampire, but a vampire who lost one of his fangs sinking his teeth into something he shouldn't have. Now he has one night to find a dentist before his natural healing abilities close the wound, leaving him a lop–sided eater for all eternity.

"I must admit, because of the title I thought it would be a cheesy book, but was I pleasantly surprised. I love a book that can make me laugh and cry and keep me on the edge of my seat. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. "
— Kimberly (4 out of 5 stars)
“Plenty of action and a fair amount of humor make this story a fast-moving and enjoyable read...The author skillfully blends many layers in this story.”
— RT Book Reviews" One of the best books I have ever read. "
— MiMi, 2/19/2014" Free fluff from B&N for my Nook. This is a summer/beach type read, amusing, but without a need to concentrate too much "
— Sarah, 2/7/2014" Completely silly. Badly written, very juvenile. I listed it as a humor book but I doubt the author intended that categorization. I kept wondering what her editor had actually done, because I know very little about editing but I would never have allowed a book to be published that was that repetitive and silly. The love interest, Roman, swears, "G-d's Blood!" on almost every page; a "G-d's Blood" drinking game would have given me a horrible hangover, I assure you. I'm all for a catch phrase and establishing an identity for a character, but it really was ridiculous. The repetitiveness of that curse, his saying that he was a demon undeserving of love, and other silliness really pushed the limit on my tolerance. What redeemed it was the cute characters and nice, if formulaic, story. Typical paranormal romance where she's somehow his one true love in 500 years. It was the type of book I was in the mood for, so I give it 3 stars for fitting my mood, but better editing would really have been in the author's favor. If you like paranormal romance, such as Lynsay Sands' books, you will probably like this, although it's nowhere near as well done as Ms. Sands novels. "
— Cathy, 2/6/2014" 2.5 stars. There were some humorous parts, but some very cheesy parts as well. The writer grossly overused the phrase "God's Blood" which meant more or less "for crying out loud". The editor should have caught that. It bordered on the ridiculous, especially in chapter two. "
— Veronica, 1/24/2014" Another freebie Kindle book. Actually kinda of funny with over-the-top characters. "
— Casey, 1/15/2014" Great book and series. Humor with a good storyline. Love the characters "

— Natalie, 1/4/2014" this book is something to be admired!!! i love how kerrelyn made this world! It all started with roman losing his tooth to a sex doll!!! vampire yummy! "
— Ashley, 1/2/2014" This was a cute read. It kind of reminded me of your basic Harlequin romance, with a tad bit more suspense to it. It's not my favorite series, but it's cute. I'll probably continue with the series and see where the author takes it. "
— Amy, 12/12/2013" this is a reread but since I forgot to add this and I kinda wanted to reread it I was all eh might as well- not bad I laughed a lot Shanna is so silly I love her "
— Jean, 12/11/2013" It reminded me of a Stephanie Plum novel, but with vampires instead of bounty hunters. "
— JenniferC, 12/3/2013" This was my first Sparks book, loved it! "
— Lori, 8/27/2013" A fun Vampire read! The scene with the new sex toy for Vampires was giggle worthy! "
— Keri, 7/2/2012" Not terribly impressed so far at page 86. I like to give a book 100 pages to redeem itself, though. "
— Kelly, 5/15/2012" DON'T JUDGE ME! "
— Karen, 4/18/2012" Nice book. Not extraordinary, but for a crossover Harlequin/Vampire, it's good enough. The humour certainly helped keep it interesting. "
— Anyssia, 4/5/2012" Upon a second pass through this book, I'd downgrade it to 3 stars. I liked it enough when I read it. But listening to the audio book wasn't quite as enjoyable an experience. I still like the story and this universe. But hearing the story this second time wasn't as good as reading it the first time. "
— Nicky, 4/4/2012" Funny. Kerrelyn Sparks has a winner with this one. "
— Imari, 3/16/2012" This was okay.. Too much of a romance book for me. If that was toned down I would have liked it beter. "
— Julie4, 8/24/2011" Very funny! I loved the sense of humor that wove through the entire story. "
— Terri, 5/19/2011" Funny and written in an easy going way. A book not only for those who are interested in vampire books. "

— Sunscented, 5/16/2011" Freebie, and it was pretty awful. "
— Danielle, 5/13/2011" purfect book....and fantastic start of the great series of vamps...:)
"
— Nahal, 5/13/2011" this book has potential. i like the idea of a vampire trying to make the world a better place. made me lol, but somethings are just annoying. "
— Mary, 5/13/2011" This was a fun and lighthearted book that made me laugh. Not sure if I want to read the entire series, but it was fun to read this one. "
— Kim, 5/5/2011" Not my normal type of book but it was fun and easy to read. "
— Bree, 5/5/2011" This was cute! While the constant overthinking done by the heroine, Shanna, was irritating, it did fit the plot and it didn't take her too long to come to her senses. I'd consider reading more books in this series. "
