"Everytime I finish a new Charley Davidson book, I regret it. I have to wait so long for the next book to be released! This has to be one of my favorite series. I love every single character and Charley always has me laughing out loud. It doesn't hurt either that Lorelei King narrates. She does every charater's voice perfectly- even the men. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is simply that a book needs to either make me cry or have me on the edge of my seat - can't eat- can't sleep- have to finish it for a 5 star rating. When it comes to excellent writing and character development though, Darynda Jones gets 5 stars hands down."

" I really love how the fourth installment delves more into Charley's reaper background. This is only the fourth installment in what I understand to be at least a 13 book series, so there's still more questions that need to be answered. But the book did serve to whet my appetite for more or Charley's antics. "
