There was a time, not long ago, when all Zara wanted was to have Nick back. Rescuing him from Valhalla should have made all her problems disappear. He’s Bedford’s greatest warrior, not to mention Zara’s true soul mate. Except. Nick isn’t the person he used to be. And neither is Zara. She’s a warrior now, and a pixie queen. Astley’s queen. She has a plan to stop the evil pixies that are ravaging her town, and her ideas are not the same as Nick’s or Astley’s. One thing they can all agree on though: war is here. And if Cassidy’s premonitions are correct, then not every warrior will make it in the end, and Zara’s gravest choice is yet to come.

"It was the best book of the series! I was pretty much satisfied with everything. I'm team Astley all they way! I definitely think that she made the right decision in that matter, I mean, Nick was being a little more than a petty jerk! Anyway, I also liked all the action and more intense parts. It was a very good read, I finished it basically in one sitting, when I really started to read it this morning, I couldn't put it down."

" A quick read. A good conclusion to the series, but I didn't feel as drawn in as I did with the other books. "
— Jessie, 2/17/2014" This book was probably my fave of the series!! I loved how everything came together, it was a good page turner. Zara really came into her own for me in this book, she was great! If you've read the other 3 you will love this one!! "
— Kim, 2/12/2014" This book was a whirlwind of things, but I'm happy on how things turned out for her. "
— Celeste, 2/12/2014" Pretty good ending although it was too quick. Glad that Zara and Astley got together. "
— Alice, 2/7/2014" Uneven, but enjoyable. Short review to come. "
— Wendy, 1/30/2014" It was good, a great conclusion to the series. It was cute, good and she SPOILERS!!! Ends up with Astley and I love him because he's so kind and sweet to here and he loves her too! The war was big part of the story and there was alot of action and action is what I live for. It all added up in the end, though and that was good. "
— Janae, 1/19/2014" I love the whole Need series. Amazing!!! "

— Haylee, 12/6/2013" loved it. I loved all the action n romance n the ending was fabulous ....love love love it!!! great read "
— Christina, 11/4/2013" I feel as the end of this book was fairly rushed for well, you know RAGNOROK! Just glad she didn't end up with Nick so I didn't have to hear them 'baby' each other again. Also in the end if she human or Pixie again that was fairly ambiguous? "
— Thelaurakremer, 10/28/2013" 3.5 stars. I didn't really enjoy this book as much I did the other books in the series. The writing lacked in more ways than one. The only reason this got the rating it did is because of Astley<3 "
— Alana, 9/14/2013" The start was a bit slow but had a great ending. "
— Tania, 9/6/2013" The last fourth of the book was definitely the most interesting and kept me guessing. Lots of twists and turns. For the final book of the series it was a little short but I still enjoyed following the characters on their journey to "save the world." "
— Alisa, 6/22/2013" Completely awesome series. I am sad to see it come to a close. Carrie Jones, you are phenomenal. "
— Chantal, 6/19/2013" Very good ending to this series. It wasn't exactly how I wanted everything to turn out, but I was very satisfied at the end regardless. "
— Jennifer, 6/16/2013" it had a very nice pace leading up to the final battle. I am also very happy in the guy she picked at the end. "
— Egypt, 2/5/2013" Wish there were books . they were so good ! so happy who she picked in the end ! "
— Readers, 1/21/2013" loved it but she could have summed up the ending a little better, idk just a few ideas running through my head about what could have been. "
— Erika, 1/5/2013" I really liked this series, I started reading it a couple years ago and I've enjoyed every last page. "
