"Normally I am not a big fan of Deepak Chopra but I liked this one. It is an excellent book about third facet of the Christ. #1 is the historical Jesus, #2 is the Jesus of religion & #3 is the cosmic Jesus or the Jesus that brings enlightenment. Clearly Jesus did bring enlightenment in the Eastern fashion, a worthwhile book for anyone."

" I saw this at Borders, and since reading A New Earth, I found it very interesting. I also admire Deepak. It is about the Christ-consciousness. "

" It basically gave a somewhat cogent narrative that was consistent with my spiritual views and more importantly fit with my personal view of who Jesus was and what he represented. "

" LOVED IT. Deepak Chopra's writing is beautiful. Also - as someone raised in a non-Christian faith, he does a great job of presenting Jesus as accessible to all. He demonstrates the common truths inherent in all the world's religions "

" The spiritual quest leads to the soul, which for Chopra is synonymous with heaven and the Kingdom of God. He argues that Jesus' most radical idea was using meditation to expand consciousness, increase awareness, and dismantle the ego. This book helped me feel close to Christ and be okay with prayer again. "

" I like the idea of Jesus as a role model, an enlightened leader whose teachings we should follow based on their own merit, and this book promoted the idea that we can follow him to "god-consciousness." I wasn't always in the mood to pick it up, but I enjoyed the message overall. "

" I love Deepak. This book is great for showing Jesus through a light that many people miss. While I am not a believer in Jesus being the son of God, I do believe he was a coo, guy from which we can all learn about living in a conscience, present state. "
