Publisher Description

Half human and half Wyr, Pia Giovanni spent her life keeping a low profile among the Wyrkind and avoiding the continuing conflict between them and their Dark Fae enemies. But after being blackmailed into stealing a coin from the hoard of a dragon, Pia finds herself targeted by one of the most powerful—and passionate—of the Elder Races. As the most feared and respected of the Wyrkind, Dragos Cuelebre cannot believe someone had the audacity to steal from him, much less succeed. And when he catches the thief, Dragos spares her life, claiming her as his own to further explore the desire they've ignited in one another.

"A more than enjoyable Paranormal Romance. The world building is interesting, the story enticing, the men hot, the romance even hotter. Harrison manages to create a more than decent action storyline entwining with the romance storyline that kept me just as engrossed as the romance. I loved Dragos to bits and really like how Harrison manages to make his personally slightly alien, so that him being a dragon doesn't only show in his ability to shapeshift into a dragon, but also in how he acts. The one thing that I could say against this book is that I had some trouble with Pia's voice at first. It took me a couple of chapters before I felt comfortable with her, but from there on I was hooked and couldn't put the book down before finishing it."

Quotes

  • This is an outstanding blend of romantic suspense and urban fantasy with great storytelling and world building, extremely sensuous scenes that move the story arc along, and characters [listeners] will be reluctant to leave.

" OMG! When I read a book like this, I always think, why didn't I read this sooner? Now one might be tempted to think I love big, yummy badass guys which this story has. But I've come to the conclusion what I really LOVE is heroines like Pia who tell Mr. Badass that they are NOT her boss. YUP. That's what floats my boat. There was also action, adventure, mystery and hot sex. Yummy men. Yes, this book had everything I needed and while I was being introduced to a new "world" , it was not difficult to read. I laughed so hard at some of the things they said and did. Excellent. "

" An enchanting tale full of extraordinary shapeshifters, witches, faeries, danger, passion and love! Reading Dragon Bound was an exciting rollercoaster ride, which I was thrilled to get into and keen to return to. The characters were absolutely charming from the grumpy, bossy Dragos, gentle yet kick-ass when necessary Pia to all the great secondary characters like Tricks, Rune, Graydon and Tiago to name but a few. There's passion and love aplenty and a nice mystery for both characters and readers alike. For what does Pia shift into? I loved this book and cannot wait to try another one by Thea Harrison. She is rapidly becoming one of my favourites! "
