"Easily the best book of the Deadly trilogy. The chemistry between the Max and Samantha was smoking and the suspense plot was full of more twists than a bag of pretzels. I cannot wait to see what Cynthia Eden does with the rest of this series. Loved it."

" A bit on the slower side, though I have to say I was SO ready to see a Sam book. This story frustrated me on so many levels though. Mainly I am wondering, is that how people really are when the FBI comes in to investigate disappearances and murders? Are people (family) really that demanding and uncooperative? Anyway I was really excited, like I said, to see how Sam is doing post-Watchman attack. She had a lot of demons and seemed to keep a lot of secrets. I kept waiting for things to blow up in her face but at the same time Max, pissed me off plenty as well. The serial kidnapper case was frustrating because it would move along and then stall. I figured out the situation quite awhile before the story caught up. Therefore I was pulling my hair out for a good chunk of time. OK but beyond that it was another well plotted mystery and romance. I have to say I am hoping there will be more books in this series. "
