"Great book! Started out kinda iffy but by the end i couldn't put it down. A lot of suspense and a little romance thrown in. This book you start to know more about the characters you have read about. A very intriguing book at the very least. I will definitely read the next in the series."

“High humor and high jinks make Bubbles in Trouble a delightful, effervescent read. Strohmeyer imbues her story with warmth and charm, giving us an endearing cast of characters. All is not slapstick and chases, though, for we get a good mystery story as well.”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars)“Strohmeyer successfully navigates the fine line between humorous stereotype and sympathetic amateur investigator…Bubbles goes undercover, frantically (and hilariously) shifting between her role as a sexy reporter and her cover as an Amish widow.”
— Publishers Weekly“There will be no shortage of laughter for listeners…Narrator Barbara McCulloh…has an array of characters to work with ane excels in her portrayal of perky Bubbles as she stumbles through her adventure.”
— AudioFile“Even more over the top than her debut…Bubbles smacks you with humor as broad as a whoopie pie in the kisser.”
— Kirkus Reviews" Okay, I adore Bubbles! Loving this series! "

— Lalalaura, 1/28/2014" Fun quick read for vacation. Fun character. Nothing deep. Certainly not on my Top Ten list. "

— Kj, 12/16/2013" Compared to Eric Brockovich & Janet Evanovich, but I think she has her own style. It's a good screwball mystery series. Maybe not realistic, but entertaining. "
— Stephanie, 12/13/2013" Enjoyed this book first by Sarah Strohmeyer I have read will read more "
— June, 12/13/2013" A quiky hairdresser is up to her old tricks and chasing the bad guys. She dresses like a hooker but under that slacker exterior is a brain that can feret out the bad guys. There is actually some comedy in the story a good beach read or a recovering from surgery read! "
— Carol, 12/10/2013" I'm definately liking her more but I wish she would have numbered her books so we could tell which comes next. "
— MaryAnn, 10/22/2013" Fun and light. Makes me want to put on too much eyeliner and wear high heels. Overall, good. "

— Valerie, 5/5/2013" LOVED the Bubbles series by Sarah Strohmeyer!! Funny, engaging and so well written, with enough anticipation and surprise to keep the pages turning... the characters drew me in and kept me there. As I finished each book, I couldn't wait to open the next one in the series. "
— Allison, 4/28/2013" Read the 2nd book in this series, but don't like the series well enough to continue with additional books. Author tries too hard to follow Janet Evanovich, but with no real love story included that makes those books worth reading. "
— Stoli, 4/24/2013" Again Bubbles out does herself and even falls for a guy. No one knows it is going to last. "
— *Babs*, 4/24/2013" Cute, funny, but a bit over-the-top. Enjoyable read, though. "

— Linda, 11/25/2011" Fluffy, light easy read. One step below Evanovich. "
— MusicalMarian, 10/10/2011" I had trouble with this one as Bubbles goes undercover in Amish country. The narrative drags through the heart of the book, I kept wanting the pace to pick up. "
— Jim, 9/6/2011" Who could help but love Bubbles? And now I'm afraid of shoofly pie. "
— Megan, 8/8/2011" just light silly easy reading fun!! "
— Colette, 7/4/2011" A light mystery, cute...not as funny as it would appear. Started off a bit slow, but picked up about midway through. Fine for a rainy afternoon read. "
— Lori, 6/14/2011" the last 70 pages or so started to drag somewhat so found myself not finishing as quickly as I thought I would - though overall liked the book "
— Janeene, 6/10/2011" I find the series light and amusing, with unusual cases and situations. I didn't like it as much as the first book in the series, but it was still fun. The reader is particularly good at changing her voice to accomodate the different characters. "
— Tara, 3/29/2011" I liked this second book in the series. A little slow to start, but it developed into a good mystery. "
— Jan, 3/2/2011" This series is just cute. I don't have a whole lot to say about this one that I didn't say about the first one. This is a lot like Stephanie Plum, but less with the funny, but more with the plot. "
— Jenn, 2/20/2011" I find the series light and amusing, with unusual cases and situations. I didn't like it as much as the first book in the series, but it was still fun. The reader is particularly good at changing her voice to accomodate the different characters. "

— April, 10/6/2010" Better than the first...a good mix of nutty characters "
— Leslie, 10/4/2010" It started out a bit rough, but by the middle of the book, the narration really hit its stride between balancing the humor and the murder mystery. The resolution was partly old hat and partly well thought out, and overall, the book was a fun read. "
— Dox, 7/31/2010" Perfectly fine for light summer reading but not especially engaging. A lot of the same formula parts as an Evanovich but not as convincingly rendered. "
— Kizz, 7/15/2010" Good for a chuckle, just like the first one. "
— Stacy, 4/8/2010" Cute, funny, but a bit over-the-top. Enjoyable read, though. "
