"These are satisfying mysteries. Bubbles is a bit dim, but with help from her friends and relatives, she does a fair bit of sleuthing and manages to put together things on her own. I like that about this series. A lot of the mystery series with a touch of human and an uncommon "detective" has the main character stumble upon things through no fault of their own. (I'm looking at you Aurora Teagarden.)"

— Kirkus Reviews" Another fun light book in the series. Only one left... "
— Jan, 2/10/2014" This could be Bubbles big break through in the news business. This was another great book in the series and I am looking forward to the last one to see how it all turns out. Will she go through with her Boyfriends proposal? "
— *Babs*, 1/25/2014" The more I read of Bubbles, the more I like her. The books are just for fun. You can't help but like Bubbles. She has a BIG personality. "
— Kelly, 1/24/2014" All fun! In audiobook. "
— Tina, 1/21/2014" I just finished the first five books about Bubbles, a funny hairstylist/reporter and although there is a sixth one, which is supposedly last one in the series - my library does not have it so I will have to find it another way. Anyway, it was light and funny in a "legally blond" way. "
— Nori, 1/14/2014" Another fun read with my Bubbles. "
— Jeffrey, 1/2/2014" LTA "
— Maresardo, 12/25/2013" Never a dull moment with Bubbles! Love the whole series! "

— Vickie, 11/28/2013" i was over this book about halfway through. The stephanie plum ones are just so much better. "
— Amber, 11/28/2013" This is the first book I have read on Bubbles and I loved it. A good weekend read. "
— Teresa, 9/16/2013" It was a cute story, but I'll stick with Stephanie Plum. "
— A., 7/12/2013" LOVED the Bubbles series by Sarah Strohmeyer!! Funny, engaging and so well written, with enough anticipation and surprise to keep the pages turning... the characters drew me in and kept me there. As I finished each book, I couldn't wait to open the next one in the series. "
— Allison, 7/6/2013" just light silly easy reading fun!! "
— Colette, 3/26/2013" Very cute! finished this one this weekend. Loved the ditsy blond gone investigator. There were a few unexpected twists that made me laugh. "
— Rachael, 3/6/2013" Like her books, but with this one, I kept getting the characters mixed up in my head. "
— Leslie, 6/24/2012" As always, a cozy mystery with familiar characters, humor, romance, and mystery. "
— Kim, 5/10/2012" I really liked the first two books of this series, but the character quirks get tiresome by the fifth. Bubbles is a hairdresser and a fairly 'dumb' character. Truthfully, I've had my fill of her. "
— Susan, 4/30/2012" very easy reading- funny- not in the mood "
— Amy, 4/3/2012" It kept me entertained enough to want to read the final one, number six. Love the character of Bubbles and the fact that I never pinpoint the badguy in these mysteries. "
— Stacy, 3/7/2012" Great humor and intrigue. Will Bubbles ever land Steve as a husband?? "
— Jane, 10/1/2011" If you want a fun and easy book to read then try a story about Bubbles. This one had me laughing and smiling throughout the whole book. "
— Kristi, 8/24/2011" I just picked this series up on a whim and I'm glad I did. This series gets better and better as it goes along. "
— Lisa, 4/25/2011" This series is growing on me - this was good and funny. Very much in the Janet Evanovich Staphanie Plum mould. Bubbles has an on again off again rommance going, that is definately on again in this story. "
— Jan, 4/4/2011" This series is just silly fun. I don't have a whole lot to say about it other than that I enjoyed it and Bubbles cracks me up. "
— Jenn, 3/2/2011" Just a fun book to read "
— Leslie, 10/9/2010" Bubbles is always a fun read. "
— John, 7/17/2010" This was a struggle to get through. The author is clearly mimicking Janet Evanovich, but without the wit. The plot was much too confusing, with too many characters made to look overly quirky. Too bad, because some of the themes--miners' rights, for example--could have been explored effectively. "
— Nick, 6/20/2010" Very funny and entertaining. I am really enjoying this series. "
— Cheryl, 2/23/2010" What can I say? I love humorous books and this is a great one. "
— Carolyn, 2/14/2010" I enjoyed this book and I had no idea what was happening until the end of the book... I couldn't figure it out. Then again, I'm not all that bright. :) Looking forward to the next book! "
— Rebecca, 11/18/2009" I love this series!!!! Its so funny. I feel bad for Bubbles some times but then i have to giggle and think that she deserves what she got lol. You never know what you are going to get when you turn the page on these series. A must read. "
— Kim, 8/4/2009" Interesting issues appear amongst the silliness in these books. I enjoyed this one in audio. "
— Margaret, 8/3/2009" Great fun! I could not get into Stephanie Plum books but Bubbles is a hoot. "
— Laurie, 4/13/2009" A fun, quick read, but very similar to the first book in the series.

Definitely recommended to those who enjoy the Bubbles series, but you may want to read something different between each book so it feels a bit more fresh.
"
— Shannon, 3/29/2009" This was a great read as well her books are getting better with each one. Bubbles is in a mine with her boyfriend how will they make it out if this one? "
— *Babs*, 1/29/2009" Book # 3 in the series and I'm still hooked. Bubbles is a hoot! "
