"What a strange ending to this series. The author obviously knew that she had a following like the Plum series yet wanted to end it while the series was still hot. Mission accomplished. No way to predict the mystery in this one... love the same hilarious characters. I'll miss Bubbles."
— Stacy (4 out of 5 stars)
“Bubbles Yablonsky returns in her zaniest adventure yet…With plenty of laugh-out-loud humor, a touch of sizzling romance and a compelling mystery, Strohmeyer’s latest is a must-read for mystery fans.”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars, Top Pick!)" This series is a bit like Evanovich - Bubbles is a hairdresser turned reporter; she finds herself in complicated situations and must save the riddle to get the story and save her job. This book had a different twist at the end which reminded me of a teen series. "
— Beth, 2/12/2014" Last in the series of the fun Bubbles books. This one was a little disappointing as it wrapped up the story. The book was great until just before the end, when information comes out that changes the storyline completely. It felt rushed and slightly unfinished at the end. "
— Jan, 2/8/2014" I think I am bubbled out. "
— Lori, 1/29/2014" I was dissapointed in this last book of the series only because we do not know what happend really with any of the characters. "
— *Babs*, 1/29/2014" I have read all the Bubbles books within about a week. I thought the first one was really cute, but they started to get a little repetative (Bubbles see murder. Bubbles run around "solving" murder. Who-dun-it is someone briefly mentioned at the start of the book that had no connection whatsoever. Bubbles kiss Stiletto. Dan be tool. Jane be coolest daughter ever. The end.). I read this book by the fire and when I got to LITERALLY the last 2 pages, I nearly threw it in the fire - and I DO NOT condone "book burning". I felt like the author had no idea how to wrap up her storyline (when - really - a fairytale ending would have been just fine with all of us, minus the princess part, add the hunk, the end) and just threw something in there to give to the publishers. I feel like I wasted a lot of time on these, although to be fair, I started the last 2 books reading the first few chapters and then skipping a good deal in the middle. These had such potential but there was no character development of Bubbles, which was the biggest shame. "
— Kellybeacham, 1/25/2014" I have read all of the Bubbles books and like them as a fun distraction. This book had even more action than the others but I didn't believe that Bubbles would remarry Dan just to give her frightened daughter a "nuclear" family. Stiletto is acting strange and her best friend Sandy had a women murdered in her salon and she is the prime suspect. I was really disappointed in the ending of this book and the whole series. It seemed very contrived and false to the rest of the series. "
— Jennifer, 1/23/2014" A very entertaining and hilarious mystery series. "
— Jonicat, 1/14/2014" My kingdom for an epilogue. "
— Kate, 1/7/2014" i was really shocked i liked this book, it almost reminds me of desperate housewives the way everything gets all turned around "
— Emily, 1/2/2014" I can see why Bubbles is so lovable & wins awards! Another great book. "
— Kj, 1/1/2014" Will there be more books in this series? "
— Haley, 12/22/2013" I did not like this end to the series, predictable and too similar to the previous plots. The series started out cute, light and funny but towards the end veered into ridiculous. "
— Shadee, 12/6/2013" Surprised at the end and hoping for another book! Loved the series! "
— Nichole, 11/28/2013" Liked the first 2 or 3 Bubbles books. Didn't make it past the first chapter with this one. "
— Jacky, 11/28/2013" Book was good, until the ending. The was the story was wrapped up was so annoying and does not mesh with the rest of the series! "
— Grace, 11/25/2013" I like this series because it takes place in PA where I was born and raised. I recognize many of the locals and quirky sayings. Always good for a laugh. "
— Biblophile, 11/17/2013" Very weird ending!!! "
— Amy, 9/2/2013" A screwball mystery - I think this is #5 in a series, I am sure the others are just as quirky. "
— Carey, 3/1/2013" As I have said, these books are similar to Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I like Stephanie best, but these are fun. I'll keep reading them. "

— Kiki, 1/28/2013" uummmmmmmm not sure what i think "

— Amy, 6/26/2012" A quirky,fun,quick mystery read. "
— Samantha, 2/14/2012" This was an impulse grab at the library when I needed an audio book. I actually thought it was kind of fun until the ending where everything wrapped up in a far out - sickeningly good way. "
— Michelle, 1/31/2012" This is the last one written in the series but that doesn't mean that the story is over. I really liked the series, but this one was a little off. I know it is fiction, but the others are almost believable, while this one is just a little out there. "
— Nori, 1/30/2012" This is the 6th book in the Bubbles series. It was a pretty good and quick read. I was very disappointed in the crazy, unbelievable ending the author wrote for this one though! "

— Amanda, 4/17/2011" This is the 6th book in the Bubbles series. It was a pretty good and quick read. I was very disappointed in the crazy, unbelievable ending the author wrote for this one though! "
— Lisa, 12/6/2010" This is the last one written in the series but that doesn't mean that the story is over. I really liked the series, but this one was a little off. I know it is fiction, but the others are almost believable, while this one is just a little out there. "
— Nori, 5/26/2010" Interesting ending ... hope there are going to be more books. I will miss Bubbles as the investigative reporter. I wonder if her new role will allow her to continue to pursue that career. "
— Mary, 12/22/2009" This book sucked big time. I checked out the audio version of and was bored to death, I even skipped a few CD's which made no difference. I don't even care who did it. "
— Tiffany, 10/7/2009" A very entertaining and hilarious mystery series. "
— Jonicat, 8/27/2009" The ending was out of the blue and abrupt. Not as big a fan of this book as I was the previous volumes. "
