"Better than the second book. Painter introduces many new character, human and other worldly. Chrysabelle is still too stuborn and doesn't listen to her friends and allies. The action keeps coming and things get killed. I am ready to see some justice given to Tatiana. Looking for the next chapter."

" I'm starting to lose interest in this series, although I did enjoy the first books a great deal. There is a lot of chopping and changing between story strands, with the result that developments seem to be rushed or incomplete. There are more and more secondary characters being added many of who I would really like to see developed further. Conversely the main story line moves at a snail's pace and I'm losing patience with the stubbornness of the lead characters. "
