Jane Green's Another Piece of My Heart is an unforgettable novel that illuminates the nuances and truths about love, family, and motherhood from the New York Times bestselling author of Jemima J and The Beach House "A moving story peopled with nuance, sympathetic characters." —Booklist Andi has spent much of her adult life looking for the perfect man, and at thirty-seven, she's finally found him. Ethan—divorced with two daughters, Emily and Sophia—is a devoted father and even better husband. Always hoping one day she would be a mother, Andi embraces the girls like they were her own. But in Emily's eyes, Andi is an obstacle to her father's love, and Emily will do whatever it takes to break her down. When the dynamics between the two escalate, they threaten everything Andi believes about love, family, and motherhood—leaving both women standing at a crossroad in their lives … and in their hearts. "You will laugh and cry as you read…It's that good."—Adriana Trigiani, bestselling author of Lucia, Lucia and the Valentine Series

"It wasn't my favorite of her books, but it reminded me a situation I'm close to. It's a very real family, but I feel that you can only get into it if you can relate to it. Your emotions go back & forth about which character you "feel for" at the turn of a page, so that keeps you tuned in to see who ends up being the real problem and wether or not it all ends up ok or not."

— RecordCourier" My first Jane Green title - probably my last. I struggled to finish it as I quickly got tired of the whining self-involved main women characters. "

— Susan, 2/6/2014" I read this book in one breath. Jane Green has created very life-like characters and situations that were so interesting to read about. There were a lot of twists and turns in this book. I thouroughly enjoyed this book and couldn't wait to get back to it. It could be made into a movie. "
— Alona, 1/18/2014" Not as bad as other recent books ive read from Jane, but still not a patch on her early stuff. I found the characters of Andi and Ethan pretty annoying but the story was entertaining enough for me to finish it. "
— Heidi, 1/17/2014" Jane Green is still my favorite chick-lit author! Love reading a 400 page book in 4 days! "
— Teryll, 1/9/2014" This was an ok book, very predictable. Emily was a brat, and even though later in the book the author tried to put her in a more sympathetic light, I never liked her. Andi was too nice and her husband was kind of a wimp. I did enjoy reading it though, mostly because of the other characters. "
— Sandra, 12/28/2013" Loved it. Another goodie by Jane Green. "
— Lauren, 11/22/2013" 3.5 stars a good story told from different standpoints. Fairly predictable but enjoyable nonetheless. "
— Melissa, 11/11/2013" Amazing book loved every moment!! "
— Antnjoobie, 11/4/2013" Jane Green is a great story teller. This book sucks you into the lives of this family, which could be your neighbor. Makes you feel for all parties involved. Very good book "
