Though Rylann Pierce tried to fight the sparks she felt for billionaire heir Kyle Rhodes the night they met, their sizzling chemistry was undeniable. But after being stood up on their first date, Rylann never expected to see him again. So when she finds herself face to face with Kyle in a courthouse nine years later, she's stunned. "Anything Julie James writes is an auto buy for me. I love her style. Her characters are alway rich and endearing. ATN was no exception. I loved Kyle. He was a little on the cocky side (in a hot way), but he also showed heart and emotion fearlessly. He didn't take himself too seriously but showed a sexy maturity and very male strength. Rylann was an intelligent, driven and self-assure woman that is stereo-typical of JJ heroines. The story was very sweet and at times very touching. I sunk in immediately and was in that looking-forward-to getting-back-to-the-story zone during the day when I couldn't read it. And I did lament the inevitable end. A moderately fast paced, enjoyable book with good dialogue and clever one-liners that are JJ's trademarks in my opinion. Great character chemistry that was un-rushed and believable. I was kind of expecting something more on the suspense side with a bit more action, especially with the prison guard murder sideline, along the lines of the first two. But I liked it, and my only, and very minor complaint, would be the constant "head cocking" all the characters seemed to do. I could see it as one person's trait, but it was slightly and noticeably over used. Not my favorite in her collection, but still a really great read, very fun and light."

“This one would be great on the big screen.”

— San Francisco Book Review" Another enjoyable entry in this series. Fun read - "Sawyer" was pretty perfect for being an ex-con. "
— Janna, 1/29/2014" I gobbled this one up in about 4 hours, just like the first two in the series. Love this series. So happy I found it. The first one, Something About You, is still my favorite. But this one is great. I love how the 3 couples are kind of interconnected and that you get to see the first two books' couples a little bit in the book. Hot sex in this book just like the first two! Can't forget to mention that... I will now commence re-reading all 3 books many, many times. "
— Jill, 1/25/2014" Oh my goodness. I seriously can't put down Julie James' books. This time, I was up until 6:30 A.M. trying to finish this book! I don't know what I like more between Just The Sexiest Man Alive or About That Night though. I have two more Julie James books to read so I'll decide then. The two books are kind of similar and had the same dilemma in the end, since both female characters are lawyers and have a reputation to protect, they have to choose between their career and the guy. So far though, this is the only Julie James book that made me cry - that scene when they had "The Talk" after Kyle saw Jon in Rylann's kitchen. I was able to really relate to Kyle's character. He's by far my favorite male character in Julie James' books. "
— Anne, 1/24/2014" casual evening read...but very predictable story line unlike a lot like love "
— Gabriella, 1/15/2014" ... pretty much like most of Julie James books. Starting to get a bit yawn. "
— bookowl, 12/28/2013" Nice romance. I miss the suspense, though. Unlike the previous FBI books, this story doesn't revolve around a crime / mystery / investigation. Still, it is a nice read, well written. "
— Miau, 12/27/2013" This is my first book by this author and though this particular book didn't have the storyline to warrent more than 3 *'s, I will definitely read more. She writes with great humor and the characters are likable. "
— Katherine, 12/27/2013" Julie James never fail to amuse me!!! I loved it. 'Nuff said. "
— France, 12/26/2013" It took me s little bit to get into this one. I read a lot like love, I loved it. It took me a few chapters but grew to love this one just as much. Great series! "
— Karen, 11/19/2013" Not a bad book.Typical love romance but none the less one i really enjoy reading.I can say that i am looking forward readung the next book from Julie James. "
— Denitsa, 11/9/2013" Another great Julie James book. "
— Lori, 8/4/2013" I love all of Julie James' books and never hesitate to pick up her next one. While this book didn't have the suspense element she had in the others in this series, it was a great love story regardless. Now I have to wait for her next one... *sigh* "
— Kellie, 6/27/2013" The story was okay. I think the first two books were alot better and hotter though. "
— Marie, 6/7/2013" 4.5 stars. The story was sweet, sexy and simple. I enjoyed it more than her last two, which didn't catch me as much as her first two. I'm looking forward to the next! "
— Leigh, 5/24/2013" I really like that it deviated away from the same plot arc as the former two. Loved Rylann as a character and Kyle was everything I'd hoped he would be. Another great instalment. "
— Jodie, 5/12/2013" 3.5... Now, everytime that I'll be on twitter, I'll be thinking of Kyle Rhodes. :))) "
— Mharis, 5/8/2013" JJ did a good job of turning Kyle into a hero I could get behind. In his sister's book I thought he was an immature jerk. She did such a good job that I was in love with him myself by the end of the book. "
— Keri, 2/10/2013" I liked this book but not as much as other books from Julie James. It lacked passion (not in the sexual kinda way). Still is a good book but Practice makes perfect is still my favorite from this author. "
— (¯`·..·♥Anna♥·..·´¯), 12/28/2012" Again, a fun, fast, sexy read... I haven't seen anything to keep me from reading anything by Ms. James.... "
— Melissa, 12/9/2012" I always love Julie James, definitely my favorite author of all time!!!! "
— Debie, 10/15/2012" I love this author. I started with A Lot Like Love and then I fell in love with her writing skill. While I found her books are all intriguing and breath-taking, I must say they are a lot worth reading. And I absolutely can't wait what's in store next.. "
