" This is the first book I read by Julie James. I cannot believe I waited so long to book up a book by her...what was I thinking. The story kept me entertained and I could not wait to see what would happen with the characters. "

Julie James graduated from law school, then clerked for the United States Court of Appeals. She then practiced law with one of the nation’s largest firms for several years until she began writing screenplays. After Hollywood producers optioned two of her scripts, she decided to leave the practice of law to write full time. Her books have been translated into sixteen languages. She lives with her husband and two children in Chicago.
