"I listened to the audiobook, and as always I thoroughly enjoyed Jim Dale's performance. I enjoyed Emerald Atlas but I enjoyed Fire Chronicle even more. Experiencing the story from Michael's POV made for such a strong emotional connection. You really can't help but root for him. The ending is a bit frustrating, but I can't wait for the next book and Emma's story. I guess this series is typical middle grade fantasy, but Stephens tells a good story."
