Publisher Description

Live boldly and act on your most powerful beliefs with this life-changing guide to faith, positive thinking, and spiritual fulfillment.

Pastor Joel Osteen asks everyone to examine what he or she really believes. Why is this important? Because we will become what we believe. Our beliefs will prove either a barrier or vehicle as we strive to go higher, rise above our obstacles, and to live in health, abundance, and victory.

In YOUR BEST LIFE NOW, Osteen says, "I am what I am today because of what I believed about myself yesterday. And I will be tomorrow what I'm believing about myself right now. God sees us as more than conquerors, able to fulfill our destiny. We need to see ourselves through the eyes of our Creator." He says that our self-image should mirror exactly what God says about us, not what we feel or think. And he encourages readers to be people of faith, for if you can see the invisible, God will do the impossible.

"I actually listened to this book I CD. I got it from my local library! It is just plain, simple, common sense! But we don't hear it enough! I highly recommend it! I think hearing it is better then reading it too! We are so bombarded by negativity that this will sound so refreshing! Very, Very good!"

Quotes

  • “Houston televangelist Joel Osteen is well qualified to write this book. The seven steps Osteen shares will have value to anyone wanting to know more about practical steps of self-betterment, regardless of their denomination.”

    — Amazon.com, editorial review
  • “Televangelist Joel Osteen’s message of hope and encouragement has won him praise from actor Chuck Norris and author Joyce Meyer. In Your Best Life Now, he encourages believers to discover their innate, God-given strengths and abilities to overcome obstacles and achieve authentic success.”

    — Barnes & Noble, editorial review
  • “Though it’s quieter than Osteen’s Houston mega-church broadcasts, listeners will love the ‘don't quit’ energy and solid ideas in this excellent studio recording…It teaches…principles like selflessness, charity, hope, and personal initiative by inviting you into the process. Bible stories and vignettes from the preacher’s rags-to-riches life are inspiring. As an inspirational audio, this is as good as it gets!”

" I read, or rather, listened to this on audiobook in my commute to work in the mornings. And every morning, I'd come with a smile on my face and hope in my heart. I know that sounds cheesy, but it inspired me morning after morning with great tips to be a victor in life. Highly recommended! "

" This is one of the most inspirational books I've ever written. There's something about his prose that is uplifting rather than "preachy," as is the case with some of these types of books. A real winner. You don't have to be a Christian to appreciate the insights offered. "

" Mixed feelings. Some fabulous insights, but then he says things like, "God wants your life to be easy." Well, check out Jesus' life and words. Later Osteen backs down and talks about the value of struggles. Maybe he just starts with a popular bang to draw in readers. "
