" EVERY DAY A FRIDAY:HOW TO BE HAPPIER 7 DAYS A WEEK by Joel Osteen is an interesting Christian Life resource book. It is written with insight into ways to living a happy and meaningful life.He has research that shows people are happiest on Fridays. He also shows readers how to live a happier, fuller life everyday and not just on Fridays. He offers encouragement, spiritual guidance, and practical advise. This author is a great motivational speaker. He encourages us not to judge but to be a source of understanding support to others. A good resource, educational tool but by no means replaces the Bible and its teachings. We all need encouragement and support. It is your choice to be happy, laugh often, have a victorious and properous life. This book was received for review from the publisher. Details can be found at FaithWords a division of Hachette Book Group,Inc. and My Book Addiction Reviews. "

" Most of this book was a regurgitation of his previous writings. It's good for someone who wants an introduction to Osteen's teachings, but should be skipped for those of us who read him frequently. "

" I really enjoy this book by Joel. But if you ever heard him speak at less twice, then this book is not anything different then what he preaches about. But it was nice in that he could just combine all the different things into a book. "

" I enjoyed this book. Some of it was repetitive of things that I've heard Joel Osteen say before. I am still glad that I read it. It is a uplifting book, filled with Osteen's jokes and stories of people that overcame some obstacle by God's grace, mixed in with a bit of scriptures and reflections on his childhood and father. Fans of Osteen will recognize several of the stories featured in the book. I do think Osteen should update his material, but overall Everyday A Friday was a worthwhile read. "

" Rosalie got this for me kind of or mostly as a joke. But I read it and really enjoyed it. It's all about how to be more content in an often-sh*tty world. At first it seemed kind of corny to me. But as I kept reading it and thinking about it, it made me feel good, I began to like it. I want to read it again, because its benefits were greatest while I was actually reading it; you forget this stuff quickly when you're not actually reading it. "
