About the Authors

Chris Crowley is the coauthor of Younger Next Year and Younger Next Year for Women. Until his retirement in 1990, he was a litigator and partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York City. Mr. Crowley lives in New York and Lakeville, Connecticut.

Henry S. Lodge, MD, is a general internist and a member of the Columbia University Medical School faculty. He is the coauthor of the New York Times bestsellers Younger Next Year and Younger Next Year for Women, which have sold more than a million copies in the United States and have been published in seventeen languages around the world.

Allan J. Hamilton, MD, is a Harvard-trained brain surgeon, a renowned horse trainer, a developer of equine-assisted learning programs, and the author of Lead with Your Heart and Zen Mind, Zen Horse (Gold Nautilus Award winner). He is a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Arizona and a medical script consultant for the hit television series Grey’s Anatomy. He raises Lipizzan horses on a small ranch on the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona.

About the Narrators

Jim Frangione is an actor and audiobook narrator who won AudioFile magazine’s 2011 Best Voice in Mystery and Suspense for his reading of Philip Carter’s The Altar of Bones and Spencer Quinn’s To Fetch a Thief. He has won numerous Earphones Awards and has been was a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award. His theater credits include the off-Broadway production of Scrambled Eggs and the New York premiere of David Mamet’s plays The Old Neighborhood, Romance, and Oleanna, in which he also performed with the national tour. Brian Hutchison is an Earphones Award–winning audiobook narrator and a professional theater actor who has appeared in numerous Broadway, off Broadway, and regional plays.

Suzanne Toren, award-winning narrator, has over thirty years of experience in narration. She was named a “Golden Voice” by AudioFile magazine in 2019.
