Yin Yoga Session 1 is an easy to follow 65 minute class. It contains a selection of held floor based postures to help release deep set tension from both the muscles and connective tissues.
Yin yoga will improve both joint flexibility and joint stability. By taking the time to engage in a yin style yoga practise regularly many additional benefits are experienced such as improved posture, increased energy flow, stress levels become more balanced, sleep pattern is often improved and general feelings of health and vitality are experienced.
A yin style practice will compliment other stronger or flowing yoga practices and other physical activities. It also provides the perfect opportunity to balance a busy or hectic lifestyle as it induces deep relaxation soothing both body and mind

Sue Fuller is a leading teacher of both Hatha and Sivananda yoga. She initially trained with the Dhanwanthari Ashram at the Neyyar Dam in India, and has also studied yoga in Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. She has lead workshops and held training courses in many countries. In addition to her teaching, Fuller is a columnist for Natural Health and the Yoga magazine and a Yoga Elder with the Independent Yoga Network. She is a course author for the British School of Yoga.
