"I can't help but like these ridiculous paperback thrillers. I've read another book of hers with the same characters and I find them likable and interesting. The stories are fun little mysteries, fluffy but entertaining and just dark enough to be interesting."

" And incredible author! You are hooked during the first chapter and it only continues to draw you in. I recommend both her Grant County series and Will Trent series. "

" I'm still getting what I want out of these books....a suspenseful story that keeps me guessing till the end. The gore is still cringe-worthy and that's a bit tough for me to get through. I love her characters though. Each book results in a greater interest in their well-being. "

" This was great, but it's the second of three books in the series to hinge the mystery on an unreliable third person perspective. Unreliable narrators are a pet peeve of mine because they're easy to spot and that destroys the mystery. Oh well. Still good. "
