Publisher Description

Upscale interior designer Zoe Luce has found peace and contentment in Whispering Springs, Arizona. She has a thriving business, and she’s settling into newlywed life with private investigator Ethan Truax. The threat that brought Zoe and Ethan together is finally over, ancient history, or so Zoe believes. Very few people know of her uncanny ability to sense the dark secrets hidden within the walls of a house, and she wants to keep it that way, even from Ethan. But someone is stalking Zoe - someone who knows all about her, and who shadows her every move. Is it the same person who is threatening her closest friend, Arcadia Ames, the only other person in Whispering Springs who knows the truth about Zoe? Or are Zoe and Arcadia getting tangled in a web spun by someone more dangerous than they could ever have imagined? As a private investigator, Ethan is paid to find the truth, yet he has secrets of his own that are better left buried. He can’t let the threats to Zoe go unchallenged, although he fears that the truth may be a bigger burden than their still-fragile relationship can handle. And Ethan isn’t alone with his fears: instead of setting her free, Zoe dreads that the truth will only imprison her once more within her darkest nightmares, this time with no escape in sight.

"Great second book. It's nice to see where a relationship goes after the romantic ending. This story had several layers of creepiness, suspicion, mistrust and outright doubt that the marriage would work. Even their dreams were forboding and held the spidery taint of something not quite right. I love the conversations about what it means to really be crazy and what it takes to accept the quirks of the one you love. Fun, slightly scary, and a little on the dark side, this book is a great second book in the series."

" I just read Whispering Springs 1 last week and and picked up the second one by accident. Im happy there was a second one because i wasnt really content with how the first one ended. The second book continued right where the first one left off and i liked that. I liked the first book more but i liked this book because it gave me closure. I liked how she incorporated relationships of "the gang" but none of the other romances over shadowed Zoe and Ethan. If you liked the first book you'll like this one, "

" Thought I'd already booklogged this one, but apparently I was wrong! This one has likable, if a bit overly quirky characters, and a fairly standard suspense plot that picks up on threads from the previous book in this duology. There's also some very faint paranormal elements: this could easily have been an Arcane book, and you can see how Krentz is definitely revisiting themes from her earlier works in that particular series. " This was good, not an easy read. I feel like it was a part of a series and I was missing something in the beginning. The characters seemed to already be developed. It was a good story, but all the build up left me a little unsettled at the end. It's like she rushed to get everthing finished up. "
