Publisher Description

A Woman’s Tender Touch He was born to a clan of warriors of supernatural strength, but Gavrael McIllioch abandoned his name and his Highland castle, determined to escape the dark fate of his ancestors. Hiding his identity from the relentless rival clan that hunted him, he called himself Grimm to protect the people he cared for, vowing never to acknowledge his love for ravishing Jillian St. Clair. Yet even from afar he watched over her, and when her father sent an urgent summons, "Come for Jillian," he raced to her side - into a competition to win her hand in marriage. A Warrior’s Steely Heart Why had he run from her so many years before? And why return now to see her offered as a prize in her father's manipulative game? Furious, Jillian vowed never to wed. But Grimm was the man she loved, the one who urged her to marry another. He tried to pretend indifference as she tempted him, but he could not deny the fierce desires that compelled him to abduct her from the altar. She was the only woman who could tame the beast that raged within him - even as deadly enemies plotted to destroy them both....

"As with the first book, I loved this book/story as well. Not only did I like revisiting Hawk and Adrienne, I liked finding out more about Grimm (Hawk's captain of the guard from Beyond the Highland Mist), and Jillian St. Clair, the woman he loves but can not have. I loved the strength of Jillian and her determination to fight for what she wants, and the fierce, but loving nature of Grimm. Add to it humor, magic, and the legend of the Berserker warrior, and you have a great story that I think many readers will love. I am definately looking forward to the other books in this set."

" I LOVE this entire series. These books are the pinnacle of cheesy romance...but it's GOOD cheese, like the superfine, $20-a-pound cheeses you buy at Wegman's. Delicious. And yes, I often indulged in a glass of wine while reading this one. Because what goes better with cheese than wine? "

" This book is good. I have not read the first one yet but it was intersting. Some of the characters have the same name as Nord Gods. It was interesting and I realy liked the story even when I was getting mad at how dumb some of the characters are. "

" I liked this one much better than the first in the series. I thought the story line was more compelling, the romance sweeter, the paranormal element more interesting. The first one sort of fell flat for me (though I still enjoyed it), but this one was much more enjoyable. Grim was such an honorable guy and Jillian was a strong female character. I'll keep on with this series. I guess at some point I'll get to the McKeltar's (I think that's their name?) that are in the Fever series. :-) "
