" Wanted something fun to read around Halloween. James Patterson compiled this book of short thrillers by various authors. It was a good read. Found some authors to read and some to avoid. "

" Started to read this - got about halfway through, but didn't find any of the stories scary or interesting for that matter. Decided not to finish it....maybe someday in the future I will pick it up again.....Too bad, because I love James Patterson. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Kirsty (Blatant Biblioholic) | 1/27/2014

" I love thrillers and knew that when James Patterson had put his name on something that it must be worth reading. I was right. This book was a great mix of thrillers from all sub-genres and it opened my eyes to some great authors. Most of the stories were great, there were a couple that didn't really interest me, but thats to be expected in an anthology. I found it was best to read the stories one at a time though, as reading them one after the other made them a little confusing because they were all from different perspectives etc. "

" I love short stories so was okay with reading this even though I am not fond of James Patterson. Some of the stories were pretty good and made me want to read other things by the authors. Some were just not my cup of tea. And there were others that were boring. I guess it really depends on what kind of thriller you like. "
