" Also read The Body Thief. I had never read these books and enjoyed the adventure. Queen of the Damned was dense and a lot of expostion, almost a treatise on men have ruined civilization and women have to fix it by getting rid of them. But that would not work would it. What an iron maiden the queen is and the king... well read the book. "

" Didn't everyone read these in college and secretly want to become vampires? Ok, maybe it was just me and my band of merry dorks but these are the best of Anne Rice's vampire writings. After Queen of the Damned she went downhill awfully fast. "

" Absolutely brilliant. Rice did Vampiric myth absolute justice in writing these chronicles. Second best Vampiric author after Bram Stoker! "

" I only read Interview with the vampire, but it was okay. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would and I was disappointed about it honestly. I have heard so much about this book and this was not was I would have thought. I thought it was great writing, she did a great job getting through the story, but I have no interest in this book at all. "

" I own these three books, but I have only read Interview with the Vampire. It's an okay book, but a difficult read. It feels like there's no plot to the story sometimes, it's just neverending; and that Anne Rice focused more on being descriptive, and close to nothing on the story. "
