For Cassie Beaumont, it’s meeting her perfect match. Cassie, at thirty-three, wants a husband and kids, and so far, nothing’s worked. Not blind dates, not the Internet and certainly not leaving love to chance.
What’s left? A professional matchmaker. He’s Simon Dodson, and he’s very choosy about the clients he takes on. Cassie finds Simon a difficult, acerbic know-it-all, and she’s astonished when he accepts her as a client.
Claiming he has her perfect mate in mind, Simon assigns her three tasks to complete before she meets him. Three tasks that are all about Christmas: being a charity bell ringer, dressing up as Santa’s elf at a children’s party and preparing a traditional turkey dinner for her neighbors (whom she happens to dislike). Despite a number of comical mishaps, Cassie does it all—and she’s finally ready to meet her match. But just like the perfect Christmas gift, he turns out to be a wonderful surprise!

"This is another good Christmas book by Debbie Macomber. The first story The Perfect Christmas is about a girl who wants to find a husband and have a perfect Christmas. So, she goes the an expensive match maker. The second story Can This Be Christmas? is about travelers trying to go home for Christmas. Their planes flights have been canceled because of a snow storm and they are put on a train, only to have the tracks go out. They are stranded at a quaint depot outside a small town on Christmas Eve. I thought both stories were enjoyable. Ms Macomber always seems to do a fine job with her Christmas stories."

— Kelly, 1/24/2014" Made me think about how lucky I am to have a wonderful family and friends, to share Christmas with. That is really what makes the PERFECT CHRISTMAS!! "
— Shelley, 1/16/2014" I am a big fan of Debbie Macomber's, and I did enjoy reading another Christmas offering from her. This was a quick, light-hearted read, and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. However, the story was a little bit improbable, and the action was a little predictable. That said, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun romance novella to help get her in the mood for the holiday season. "
— Mary, 1/15/2014" Cute Christmas stories to put you in the mood for the holidays. "
— Stephanie, 1/13/2014" This was a really easy read. The main characters were well written and very funny. I love it when opposites attract. "
— Connie, 12/27/2013" I needed a book to read in November during flights while traveling to my grandmother's birthday party in Utah. I had run out of reading material and picked this book up at Target on my way out of town. I read in while in the Utah and Arizona airports, so it's a fast read. First time I've read a book by this author. Cute, fun, lighthearted holiday cheer, but predictable ending. I enjoyed it and it set the mood for the upcoming Christmas season. "
— Tonya, 12/26/2013" A quick read, but even at that didn't really hold my interest. This was my first Macomber book and I'm not really sure I'll read another one. "
— Ndstewart, 12/26/2013" Predictable but a nice little story. "
— Kay, 12/23/2013" This book was a really cute story! It's my second book by her, and I liked the first one "When Christmas Comes" but thought it was overly cheesy at the end. This one was pretty cheesy, but not over the top! It made me smile at Christmas time, which is what I was going for. "
— Lindsey, 12/18/2013" I wanted to read a Christmas book during Christmas and so that is the main reason why I chose this book. It was ok, but not my favorite. "
— Susannah, 12/11/2013" This is a cute story, but it ends a bit abruptly for me. "
— Rachel, 12/9/2013" Debbie always does a great job of writing books that make you feel good. I especially enjoyed the "extra" story at the end - CAN THIS BE CHRISTMAS? It really showed how small things can make us realize how blessed we are. "
— Peggy, 12/3/2013" An easy read and nice as we approach Christmas to hear about the lives of others. "

— Diane, 5/21/2013" Cute but predictable story line. "
— Shari, 2/22/2013" Cute little feel good Christmas story about a girl who goes to a Matchmaker- looking for the perfect man. Great characters, a bit predictable, but still a fun ride:) "
— Brenda, 9/28/2012" Sorry, but I found this a somewhat tedious and a little improbable. Who pays $30000.00 to a matchmaker? I read it through just to see if the ending was as obvious as I expected. I have liked some of Debbie's other Christmas stories a lot better. "
— Ilovetoread2, 8/17/2012" I really enjoyed this book. Especially the extra story 'Could this be Christmas'. "
— Stacy, 7/17/2012" It was very good!!! I could not put it down. "
— Jennifer, 6/27/2012" A very sweet, adorable, fast read. Best of all, it is totally clean! If you are craving chick lit, this is a short, enjoyable read. Best enjoyed during the Christmas season, of course, but I read it during the spring time and still enjoyed it. "
— Shelece, 12/27/2011" I really like Macomber's writing style and I was looking for a Christmas book to read this last Christmas. I finished it in a day and was very happy I did. "

— Amanda, 10/2/2011" Excellent romance! Feel good Christmas story. "
— Liz, 8/3/2011" A typical, predictable Debbie Macomber work. It would have been a mildly interesting "Pride & Prejudice"-esque spin had it not been sooo obvious from about page 10. "
— Kristen, 7/30/2011" A cosy little romance with a heartwarming Christmas flavour. "
— Emma, 6/17/2011" One of my guilty pleasures is a Debbie Macomber book. Fun, light and enjoyable! "
— Lee, 2/9/2011" nice easy quick read, enjoyable, that's all "
— Samm, 2/8/2011" This one was pretty good. I felt like it could have been better in that it was really a short novel and really needed more pages to draw out the story a little. Overall it was a fun read and I loved the plot idea. "
— Andrea, 1/21/2011" It Was a great Christmas story I loved the main character I could really relate to her "
— Kelly, 1/20/2011" This was a cute, clean, quick read. Perfect for the holidays. "
— Suzie, 1/12/2011" It was a cute little Christmas romance, and it was clean. I has a couple issues with it though. What about the other guy? I feel bad for him, and really question how wise her decision was. "
— Missy, 1/12/2011" I enjoyed this short, light read. I think that the ending could have been better. It just kind of wrapped up in a hurry. I did like that she ended up with the $30000 and the guy...lol... "
— Natasha, 1/2/2011" Nobody writes a better Christmas story than Debbie Macomber. Loved it. "
— Julie, 1/1/2011" not quite chic lit, more along the lines of a feel good. it was nice to read a little Christmas story during the holidays. I read it on my nook app on my phone... "
— Olivia, 12/28/2010" Cute, quick, and adorable.

Coworker recommended it and it was available on Kindle.

"
