About Eugene H. Peterson

Eugene H. Peterson, (1932-2018) pastor, scholar, poet, and writer, was the author of more than twenty books, including The Contemplative Pastor. He founded Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, Maryland, and pastored that church for twenty-nine years. He was professor emeritus of spiritual theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia, and lived with his wife, Jan, in Montana. They had three children and six grandchildren.

About the Narrators

Kelly Dolan is a voice-over artist, filmmaker, and creative media producer based in Chicago. He also produces two podcasts Ears of Steel: The Podcast, a weekly travel & entertainment podcast hosted by author Bart Scott, and Stay Cool, Geek, a comedy podcast hosted by writer/director Kurt Larson. In addition to his media work, he is a voice artist who records radio spots, product demo narrations, and audiobooks for companies such as The New York Times, Zondervan, and Oasis Audio.

James Langton, an Earphones Award–winning narrator, trained as an actor at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and later as a musician at the Guildhall School in London. He has worked in radio, film, and television, also appearing in theater in England and on Broadway. He is also a professional musician who led the internationally renowned Pasadena Roof Orchestra from 1996 to 2002.
