Fourteen-year-old Bobby Pendragon is not like other boys his age. His uncle Press is a Traveler, and, as Bobby has learned, that means Uncle Press is responsible, through his journeys, for solving interdimensional conflict wherever he encounters it. His mission is nothing less than to save the universe from ultimate evil. And he's taking Bobby along for the ride.

Fresh from his first adventure on Denduron, Bobby finds himself in the territory of Cloral, a vast world that is entirely covered by water. Cloral is nearing a disaster of huge proportions. Reading the journals Bobby sends home, his friends learn that the desperate citizens of the endangered floating cities are on the brink of war.

" This book is amazing! I can remember just reading it and being gripped by the epic climaxes in it. There aren't many books like it, so I say you should read it. "

" Not as good as the first, but nonetheless gripping and thouroughly exceeding my expectations! "

" Great story, I just feel I would have enjoyed it more had it been written for an older audience. Things are repeated too often, pretty darn predictable, and the characters seem to have no depth. I just can't get into this series. I thought I might while I was reading the end, to find out what happens, but upon thought, no, I don't think so. "

" The Lost City of Faar is a great book. It is an excellent sequel to the merchant of death. The genre of this book is sci-fi, but there are other genres for the rest of the series. I would definitely reccomend this book to my peers. This book is full of cliffhangers. The book is about Bobby Pendragon trying to save Cloral. Cloral is a world covered in water. In conclusion The lost city of Faar is an excellent book. "

" Well... it was a slower story. but it helped in the overall plot of this 10 book seris. "

" The second book in the series, The Lost City of Faar takes readers to a new territory, Cloral, which I must admit is my favorite so far. A beautiful oceanic territory, Cloral had the adventure of the first, but a setting to die for. Once again, Bobby Pendragon, Traveler, must save the world, specifically Cloral, from the evil machinations of Saint Dane, a Traveler intent on creating chaos in the territories. "

" The sequels are always tough to write about. This book is good just like its predecessor. Saint Dane (who is the bad guy ironically. Just for clarification's sake) is still lose and causing trouble. Good book "
