When Bobby Pendragon first arrives on the tropical world of Ibara, he finds paradise. As he works to uncover clues about the turning point this seemingly idyllic territory will soon face, all he can determine is that the people of Ibara are blissfully happy. It’s not long before Bobby discovers, however, that they are blissfully . . . oblivious. The leaders of Ibara are keeping a devastating secret from their people, one that gives Saint Dane all the opportunity he needs to launch his final assault on Halla.

"This book certainly has a "Planet of the Apes" feel to it. One other thing to note is, like I've said before, the Rivers of Zadaa was defiantly a first "turning point" for the series, or maybe I'll cal it a mini chapter. I say all this without reading Raven Rise, which is in my opinion (probably everyone else who reads these books as well) the beginning of the the final chapter for the series."

" This book started to feel like a bad dream. Every time you thought things could get better, there was a turn for the worse. I'm debating if I'll continue with this series. I like the characters, but I'm not sure if thats enough. "
— Tricia, 2/20/2014" (547 pgs) "
— Saskia, 2/16/2014" This was my favorite so far. Lots of action. Multiple story lines. Interesting twists. No weird cat people. The annoying teenage logic didn't seem to bother me as much, or there was less of it. Left you hanging and looking forward to the next one. "
— Mindy, 2/11/2014" I don't remember much from the Quillan Games since it's been a while since I've read it...but oh well. Onward! "
— Dawn, 2/8/2014" Well...it must suck to be welcomed to new worlds and then find out that you cannot escape them later... Other than that issue, this book is pretty good. "
— Tyler, 2/7/2014" This series is getting to a climax, each book the progress of Bobby Pendragon the lead traveler is getting closer to his goal. This book keep you on your toes. "
— Brandon, 2/7/2014" I was in pieces by the end of this book, it was so sad. "
— Lucy, 1/27/2014" Not bad, and in true MacHale style the last 20 pages are freaking mindblowing. "
— Katelyn, 1/19/2014" This is a really great book. I wont go into detail for any of you who hasn't read the others, but it's all coming together. The Convergence is here! "
— Owen, 12/22/2013" a great continuation of one of my favorite series "
