Princess Emma will do just about anything to get out of marrying the selfcentered Prince Jorge. So when she meets a frog named Eadric who claims-of course-to be a prince, she decides to give him a kiss and see what happens. Bad idea. The frog stays a frog, and worse still, Emma turns into a frog herself. It turns out only the person who cast the spell can break it, so Emma and Eadric are soon hopping along trying to find the witch who can make them human again. This clever twist on the classic fairy tale is full of good-natured fun and romance.

"I like the story lines in this book, but was driven nearly to distraction by the inconsistencies (ie, at one point they are invited to have breakfast in a village and after eating they are invited to stay the night because it is getting dark). It's a cute story and great for the younger reader."

“High-spirited romantic comedy. . . . Fans of Gail Carson Levine’s Princess Tales should leap for it.”
— Kirkus Reviews" This was not as strong as the original series. Perhaps because this is the first in the new series about Emma and Eadric's daughter it spent too much time weakly establishing characters and not providing a very good quest/journey/task the the previous books did. I will definitely read the next one because I like the secondary characters very much. I would have liked a little more involvement of Emma and Eadric since those are the characters that kept me reading. "
— Sarah, 2/20/2014" I just love those dragons. This story is about Emma and the Blue witch. Very creative and fun to read. "
— Dina, 2/9/2014" Okay but I think there is unanswered questions. "
— Hanna, 2/6/2014" This book is a must read.but you have to read the others first! "
— Mackenzie, 2/6/2014" I have officially decided this is my favorite series. They are very clean in every way, easy and fun reads. I hate to spend too much time engulfed in a book so these are great. This particular one was not the best but quite good and leaves everything pointing to more books ahead. "
— Beth, 2/1/2014" This was still very cute and I will read the next one but I didn't quit enjoy this as well as the others. "
— Shannon, 1/31/2014" Cute! Cute! Cute!!! This series is real quick read and tons fun! I highly recommend it to any Shannon Hale, or Gail Carson Levine fans. This is a series I will definatly read to my kids for many years to come. I had so much fun with these books I had a hard time putting them down and I couldn't stop thinking about how much Abby(my four year old) is going to love them! "
— Katie, 1/29/2014" Baker keeps the fun alive with the next generation in her "Tales of the Dragon Princess" featuring Millie, a princess who turns into a dragon when she gets angry. "
— Brett, 1/21/2014" I like al of the Frog princess books. They're marvelous. So, naturely, this one was good too. "
— Emma, 1/18/2014" I love this series so much! Denya told me about them and I got the first two last Christmas! I love the ending with Ralph! Dragons don't usually fall in love, but this one does! "
— Britta, 1/11/2014" Laurel loved this book. She's not a girly girl, so she stays well away from princessy books. This one had her giggling and wanting to read more by the author. I say that's a winner! "
— Jennie, 12/11/2013" A good, cute addition to the series, it was refreshing to move on to new characters with the daughter of the previous main character taking the lead. (And really refreshing after the heavy book I finished right before this!) "
— Laurie, 12/8/2013" I love this series! Enough said "
— Chels, 12/8/2013" I prefer Emma and Eadric's story rather than Millie's but it was good anyway :) "
— Marissa, 11/22/2013" It was actually really good it is about Millie the daughter of Emma and Eadric who goes on an awesome adventure. If you love ED Baker you will love this book the best part is the book is made for a sequel so expect another book after this one. "
— Grace, 11/1/2013" I love ED Baker and his idea of fairy tales. I never thought he would produce so many books about the Frog Princess, but I am truly delighted with how he continues to capture my interest. "
— Sheralyn, 11/1/2013" Gak seseru dragon yg baik hati "
— Yunisa, 7/19/2013" I read this to my DC kiddos before nap & I love these books!!! "

— Marisa, 8/6/2012" Haha. These books are really dorky, especially this one. I definitely didn't enjoy this one as much as I did the other ones. But they're good children's literature. "
— Emily, 1/25/2011" Love this series of books. They are just fun quick reads. "
— Jan, 5/28/2010" These books may be for little kids but I love them... I am a little kid at heart forever and always. "
— Isabella, 5/6/2009" I loved that Baker was able to bring in some new characters & give us new friends to have adventures with. With the character of Millie, Emma & Eadric's daughter, Baker was able to combine the best & most interesting parts of Emma's powers. A great continuation of a fun little series! "
— Nicole, 2/28/2009" This book,I think,is the best of the E. D. Baker books yet.I am so glad the author added this book to her collection. "
— Sophie, 2/10/2009" cute story. cant wait to see what happens with millie and audun. "
— Stephanie, 12/28/2006" Unlike the other books, this story didn't seem to end. I'm still looking for the conclusion. Disappointed there, but still a sweet story. "
— Carrie, 9/5/2006" 2 1\2 stars. It was all right. I think that this storyline is petering out. The quality of her books in this series has gone downhill a bit. I will certainly keep reading her books though. "
— Elevetha, 4/20/2006" This book just plain disappointed me. It wasn't as great and I just didn't like Millie, the main character. "
