"One of my favorites in the series so far. This is the book that explains how and why Jack Reacher will leave his career as a military police. It takes place while Reacher is still an MP. He gets an emergency transfer to a new base and ends up investigating the death of a general, his wife and a Delta solider. There is a bigger coverup going on but it is complex and interesting. Also nice to meet Jack's brother Joe while he is alive and working for the Treasury department. An added bonus for me were the scenes in Paris."
