"3 for the main romance and 4 for the overall story. The series (as with Laurenston's Pride Series) moved from H/h romantica in the first books --> overall story telling of the dragons and the humans who love them in the later tales. What continues to make this series so fab is its the *story* that makes you cry, laugh, sigh, have to keep reading not the H/h which were just fine and sweet and all that. Funniest and cry baby'ist moments are still about the Trifecta of Babies now little kids - I hope the series continues one day about this generation."

" love the author's sense of humor but why does every mother/daughter relationship have to be so strained? there was also too much going on here. Annwyl's story just won't end. "
— Destiny, 2/19/2014" I love all of Shelly Laurenston / GA Aiken's books - they're always funny, sexy, exciting and interesting an a fabulously off beat way and this one is no exception. Rhona & Vigholf are a a fun pair and the overall storyline was moved forward. Can't wait for the next installment. "
— Jill, 2/9/2014" The Cadwaladr Clan kick a--!!! They love each other and family is always first. I love these books they are so funny. The kids Rhianwen the daughter of Briec and Talaith is so smart, and wise. Talwyn and Talan the twins of Annwyl and Feargus will be great fighters and they are so BAD!! I can't wait to see if Eibhear and Izzy will ever get together!!! "
— Tasha, 2/6/2014" I got confused with who is who and which is what..there were really a lot of dragons in this book. I didn't want to look up the previous series anymore. "
— Arlene, 2/2/2014" I've loved all of her books in the Dragon Kin series, including this one. I love the interaction between the family. Sometimes its in your face funny, but a lot of the times she sneaks up on you and you don't see whats coming until you finish the sentence or paragraph. "
— Shannon, 1/18/2014" It was ok....hard to follow if you haven't read any of the other books in the series...lots of names and things going on. "
— Nesseroni, 12/12/2013" Perfect blend of the old characters you come to love and Vighoff and Rhona's budding romance. Aiken created the most dysfunctional family in the world and they just happen to be hilarious, shape shifting, warrior dragons. "
— Beth, 12/6/2013" i like rhona and vigholf are great but this one just didnt do it for me. still good but not as good as the last 2 "
— Stephanie, 11/25/2013" 4.5 stars...better than the last couple "
— Texas, 11/24/2013" I am happy every day that I discovered the first two books at a book store in the Grapevine Mills Mall in December of 2008. I look forward to each and every release and loved this book. I think it's the witty banter between the characters.... "
— Jeannie, 7/19/2013" Each book is a easy, delightful journey into a group of fascinating individuals that are always evolving into greater stories within stories. I will read each to come with great anticipation of many generations to come. "
— Auburn1975, 6/25/2013" I enjoyed this book, however, not as much as I have enjoyed the Royals stories. I CANNOT wait for Eibhear and Izzy's story. They are "gagging for it" in every story. I just wished the covers would match the description of the males. "
— Elise-all, 6/8/2013" Much better than the book before :-) I just love them dragons. Nuff said^^ "
— MrsB., 1/9/2013" I absolutely love this series, it's funny has LOADS of sexy times and shape shifting dragons what's not to like? "
— Lesley, 8/6/2012" RT Book Reviews: 4*s My review: 4*s. (view spoiler)[ I loved the way Vigholf had been in love with Rhona for 5 years and never wavered from that. I also loved the reunions at the end. Other than that, all I can say is...poor Eibhear. I hope he gets his HEA soon. (hide spoiler)] "
— Lisa, 6/8/2012" Another enjoyable action packed and sometimes humorous paranormal romance where the male cares so much for his female while a full scale war happens around them. Rhona is fighting off three opponents when Vigholf thinks to step in and help but ends up breaking her spear. "
