New York Times and USA Today best-selling author G.A. Aiken offers up the sixth compelling tale in her fan-favorite Dragon Kin series. At one time, Izzy would have done anything for the gorgeous dragon E ibhear the Blue. Yet now, as she pursues a crazy quest for a pushy god, she merely tolerates E ibhear's annoying insistence on protecting her. Even so, Izzy plans on enjoying the ride as she rekindles the dragon's fires -- and then watches him crash and burn.

"The best in the series! Loved loved loved it! I didn't want it to end. What an ending it was too! Ohmygosh there must be more books to come! As with the other books in the series you get a peek into everyone's lives seamlessly. It's so nice to read a series and get updates on the main characters from previous books. This book has a lot of new characters in it. I won't give many details due to spoilers. My only disappointment with this book was that it seemed to end too soon! I want more crazy dragons. This series has become one of my favorites as are her other books. I love the mixture of comedy, romance and action!"

“Those bloodthirsty and insanely hilarious dragons are back in Aiken’s newest Dragon Kin book. Éibhear and Izzy have been fabulous supporting characters throughout the series, so it is a real treat to finally read their story. Watching their unconventional courtship unfold is a true delight. If ever there were a pair who put the ‘fun’ in dysfunctional, it’s them!”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars)" G.A. Aiken continues her story of dragons and their families. So much fun while being engaging and thoughtful. "
— swimnut, 6/14/2021" I find such sheer joy in the irreverence of dialogue between the characters in this series. Difficult to put down. Even more difficult waiting for the next installment. "
— Latte, 2/14/2014" I've been waiting to read this book for so long and well it was kind of a let down. It seems nothing got resolved although Eb and Is get together finally - none of the reasons keeping them apart were ever fully resolved. I enjoyed visiting past characters - it's always a joy to see them! I guess I just kept waiting for the one moment when all would make sense. "
— Jennifer, 1/25/2014" I really love these characters and their interactions with each other! "

— Mystic, 12/28/2013" LOVED IT! Setting up quite the story lines for books to come, can't wait! "
— Laura, 12/5/2013" Great book full of sly humor, all the usual characters and a few new ones, and a wonderfully twisty plot. "
— Dona, 3/20/2013" This is one of my favorite series, I can't say enough about it! "
— Lizzielvr, 2/6/2013" My favorite in the series so far. Delightful banter between Eibhear and Izzy made this a fun read. There was plenty of action, series plot development, and sexy times. "
