Forbidden fruit...
Reed, Noelle, and former Billings Girls Kiran and Taylor have been living it up on St. Barths over winter break. The tropical sun has melted away all the tensions of last semester, and for the first time in months, Reed is happy. She's got her best friends by her side, she has a palatial suite with an ocean view, and she's landed Upton, the most sought-after guy on the island.
Reed is falling in love.
But dating Upton makes Reed St. Barths' highest-profile guest—and not in a good way. Upton has a dark past, and he has broken a lot of hearts. One of his exes still wants him. And she'll do whatever it takes to get Reed out of the picture.

"Okay so this may not be the most realistic of the Private series, but how many of them actually are even remotely realistic? The thing about the stretching of reality is that it really makes you appreciate your own life a little bit more. The strength Reed shows in this book is amazing, and it shows that anything is possible and that you don't know what you are capable of until you need to show your strength. Overall this is the perfect blend of romance, suspense and drama."

" As full of suspense as always! "
— Samantha, 2/12/2014" boring as usual "
— Alison, 2/11/2014" These books are pretty much awesome. I love how short and easy they are to read and I love how they keep you captivated. Great series. "
— Emily, 2/1/2014" How I love Reed the underdog! Yes, the misfortunes that befall her are beyond realistic, but they are so much fun! And best of all, the word/phrase "m'fine" never appears in this book! I can't wait to find out the dirt of what happens upon the return to Easton :) "
— Chris, 1/17/2014" Okay it wasn't my favorite of the private series but it wasn't too bad.some parts kind of bored me. "
— Sarah, 1/15/2014" Even though this is not a paranormal/dystopian/fantasy these books carry a dark edge, which every teenage girl will find irresistible! "
— Kate, 1/5/2014" BILLINGS GOT DEMOLISHED!! "
— Lauren, 11/29/2013" Wow. Reed's life got hard after she got to Easton!!! "
— Emma, 11/24/2013" This book was another great book in this series. It had me hooked from page one and left me grasping for more at the end. "
— Lenna, 11/17/2013" Yet another typical Private series novel. Reed was in some sort of drama and it was life threatening. One of my favorite moments was when she referenced the TV show Lost. Also she finally admitted to being annoying. Here's hoping she "mans up" in the next novel. "
— Brianna, 7/11/2013" Three and a half stars, actually. "
— Ronni, 3/27/2013" I enjoy this book, it was a great bounce back from Paradise Lost. But, it is nowhere near as good as some of the first books in the series. The death threats were a little too numerous. Sienna, Poppy, and Paige were very irritating. Upton was a pain in the neck and the ending was kind of disgusting. "
— Chloe, 9/22/2012" I love this series so much! "
— Vicky, 7/9/2011" This was good for those that like the teenage spoiled brat dramas. "
— Crystal, 5/29/2011" I don't know why I keep reading this series. I really enjoyed the first few but it just keeps going downhill. This one was definitely the worst of the bunch. "
— Jen, 4/14/2011" It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love, love loved this book!!! I liked the way that the author keeps putting the main charactor in danger, it makes the book exciting and readable. It was really god and I'm glad that I decided to read it. "
— Shannon, 3/25/2011" I honestly don't know how Kate Brian does it :P "
— Elaine, 12/19/2010" I don't remember reading this, but I like this series so I will give it three stars. "
