"I picked up this book because I am so enamored of Alaska. It was really great, with one exception. I get that the author may be a devout Christian, but throwing Jesus into the mix of a fabulously spun mystery mixed with romance just didn't work for me. It just didn't flow. Beyond that, fabulously original storyline mixing the wilds of Alaska with Russian history, a murder mystery and a good love story was fantastic. I will read the next installment, but I hope the author tones down her preaching. I just don't believe the only people that can turn their lives around are those who are born again."

" I liked it a lot! I think I need to reread it and get the facts clear in my mind again before I get my hands on the sequel. This story moved along at a good clip and I really liked the main character. Recommended. "

— Roseanna, 11/4/2013" I received a free copy of Submerged while at Allume. Way better than your average Christian fiction, I could barely put this story down. While the love connections are fairly obvious, the plot made me want to learn more about Alaska, scuba diving, and Russian history. And so I shall. "

— David, 3/15/2013" At the beginning, It was a little confusing and hard to keep up with. However, it made more sense as it went along, and it ended up being a really good read! It was a love story centered around a mystery, so it was really suspenseful at some points. :) "
