"Regan Reilly, thirty year old private investigator is going to Miami, Florida to be a bridesmaid for her childhood friend Maura Durkin. Also, in addition to the wedding, Regan's mortician father will also be attending a convention and her mother, a mystery writer. Maura's favorite Uncle Richie Blossom who resides at the Fourth Quarter old folks home along with twenty-seven other people are at risk of losing the home they all retired to. They had purchased an option on the property last year and the option was coming to a close with another buyer interested. Richie has invented a run-proof pantyhose that he has a patent on and he will be hosting a big fashion show in the hopes of selling his idea to rival manufacturers. Once he does this he plans to buy Fourth Quarter so everyone can stay. But things begin to sprial out of control as two attempts on Richie's life are made as well as the discovery of another unsolved murder one year ago. Regan must find the killer before another attempt is made on Richie as well as herself!"

" Boy one of the better light mysteries that I have read. A bit hokie! But I pride myself I'm finishing books that I start, unless they are just horrible or against my ethics! "

" A halfway decent mystery written by a hack writer. I do not like her style, her dialogue stinks and her characters are shallow and stereotypical. The story was predictable, up to a point, but the mystery itself was not bad and I did get drawn up into the story as it unfolded. "

" Pretty good book - I'm always up for an amusing and easy to read mystery. Not as good as some of the others I have read by this author though. The plot seemed a bit contrived and confusing at times. "

" Another fluffy mystery. Again, Regan Reilly, private investigator out of Los Angeles and her parents are, too. I must admit the whole idea of a pantyhose convention and a hose that doesn't snag, stain or break was a novel idea for a novel. Likeable characters and simple mystery. "

" This is the second Carol Higgins Clark book I have read and it will be the last. Stories are shallow, characters are self-serving to the author's ego. While given the opportunity to make use of great settings, she makes them bland. What a waste. "
