"I really enjoyed this book. I've found myself a bit disappointed with the last two as Sabina's character growth seemed to stall and her self interest made her shallow and selfish. In Silver-tongued devil, she is finally forced to confront her fears, her two natured Mage-vampire conflicts and her relationship with Adam. I like that she is loyal, despite her obvious awareness of all the hot male candy around her and that she has become more aware of the importance of her friends. The book had plenty of action as usual and a surprising but not entirely unexpected ending. I'm hoping for more Zorn in the finale and can't wait to read it. I just hope my fav characters arn't killed off in the battle pending with Cain."

“Wells keeps the pressure on her protagonists as she throws curve balls at her characters.”
— RT Book Reviews“Plenty of mystery and action.”
— Publishers Weekly" Good but not as good as the first couple in the series. Need to do something new with Sabina. "
— Alice, 2/15/2014" Definitely my least favorite in the series. I still plan to read Blue-Blooded Vamp "
— Tammy, 2/7/2014" Loved it! As usual. It's been a tough journey for Sabina, but shit's gotta go all dark in order to lighten up. Right? RIGHT, JAYE? Off to order the next book! "
— Becca, 1/28/2014" YES! Book 4 was fantastic! Sabina Kane fills me with: Excitement. Heartbreak. Love. Lust. Passion. Action. Humour. EVERY SINGLE BOOK. I hope it's not true that book 5 is the last :( "
— Jackie, 1/24/2014" 4.5 stars. I really enjoyed this book. There were times when I thought things moved a little slow but overall I loved it. The ending is great and has me excited for the next book. Definitely a sad ending but a great read. "
— Ashley, 1/22/2014" Man, I did not see that coming! This book almost made me cry. In a boo-hoo, sniffle-sniffle way. Made me realize what a dork I am. But it also speaks volumes as to Jaye Wells writing abilities. These are light, fun reads. I mean who is going to take a smart-mouthed vampire with a fist-pumping ("Yes!!") minion and her other side-kicks seriously. Shit, Sabina does not take herself seriously (well ok maybe she does, but no one else really can...). Yet, despite all that and my knowledge that this is as close to fluffy mind candy as it come - I had to hold back the tears! And on the train, damn it! "
— Lisa, 1/20/2014" This is the 4th book in the Sabina Kane series. I've enjoyed these books. This one had a few surprises I wasn't expecting. Can hardly wait till the 5th is out. Thankfully it's coming out on June 1st. I don't have to wait a year like most series. "
— Diane, 1/17/2014" A great balance of drama and humor. And a cover that doesn't feature a woman in a ridiculous pose or holding a weapon that appears purely ornamental. "
— Cathy, 1/6/2014" starts a little slow (not much action, just drama), then really picks up. Such a tear jerker ending. Sabina has problems in just about every aspect of her life in this one. Lots of action in the second half, and plenty of twists in the whole book. "
— Missyb, 12/8/2013" Fabulous!!! Where's the next one?!! "
— Cass, 11/20/2013" I would say more 3 and 1/2 than just 3 stars, but It was kind of slow moving until the end, not very action packed. "
— Angela, 6/17/2013" This was an emotional one. Which relationships will survive? "
— Amy, 2/16/2013" I loved the series. It was fast paced and thrilling every minute, this one while stil good did not live up to the others. It dragged at the beginning and only picked up a little toward the end. If you are reading the series go for it other wise it's not much to it. "
— Devon, 2/5/2013" Wonderful ending to a fabulous series. I really enjoyed getting to know Sabina and watching her grow. Her friendships and interactions with others were well developed and never boring. Jayes writing is smooth and her story continues to move forward with excitement, sass and sizzle. "
— Linda, 1/1/2013" Not my fav of the series but still good. "
— Jessi, 7/30/2012Jaye Wells originally embarked on a series of random career paths, including stints working for a motivational speaker and at an art museum. After several years as a magazine editor and freelance writer, she finally decided to leave the facts behind and make up her own reality. Her overactive imagination and life-long fascination with the arcane and freakish blended nicely with this new career path. Her Sabrina Kane urban fantasy series is a blend of dark themes, grave stakes, and wicked humor. She lives in Texas with her family.
