Publisher Description

Quirky and fun-loving American heiress Daisy Bowman is the last unmarried Wallflower. Her exasperated father has informed her that if she can’t find a husband by the end of her third London season, she will be forced to marry a man she hates—the ruthless entrepreneur Matthew Swift.

Daisy is horrified. A Bowman never admits defeat, so she decides to do whatever it takes to marry someone . . . anyone . . . other than Matthew. What she doesn’t count on, however, is Matthew’s unexpected charm, or the blazing sensuality that soon flares beyond both their control. And Daisy discovers that the man she has always hated just might turn out to be the man of her dreams.

But when a scandalous secret is uncovered, it could destroy both Matthew and a love more passionate and irresistible than Daisy’s wildest fantasies.

"I truly enjoyed this book. I thought Matthew was perfect for Daisy, after all he had loved her forever and the button was a wonderful touch. While it didn't have the emotional punch that DIW did, it was still a very satisfying read. The entire series has been fun."

" This is probably the weakest novel in the series. I expected it to happen since it is very difficult to top Devil in Winter. "

" Magnificent story, stellar series! I enjoyed Daisy's story as much as I did all the rest in the Wallflower series! My biggest regret is that there aren't anymore wallflowers to read about! "

" This was sweet, I enjoyed getting to see more of Daisy and her quirky personality. I didn't want to like Matthew Swift at first because I had been hoping that Cam would be Daisy's love interest, but he was impossible to resist for long. Annabelle was a total hypocritical bitch, but other than that it was all good. Nice little twist at the end that I didn't see coming. "

" I'm a complete sucker when it comes to historic romance. Making them a series is even more tempting, I can't seem to pass them up. This was a fun, quick series that took a little bit of a new approach. The Wallflowers were the ones to turn the tables and take their futures into their own hands. It was fun to see what they would come up with next and I found them all a joy. "

" Another winner from Lisa Kleypas. The story was cute and Matthew Swift is just the kind of guy I would like. Nothing special stands out -- just a well-written, solid romance. I like it! "

" Cute as the other three? Perhaps for the first part, then the male lead is not never took off as expected, gets depressed, he is deep thinking, he is compassionate, is punished mentally ... but I don't know ... less beautiful, less exciting but still nice as a piece of the quartet! "

" Even thought it was "typical" I liked the non-reaction when the hero's big secret came out. It wasn't becuase that was what greased the skids of the plot, it followed according to their emotional involvement. "
