Publisher Description

In a world so dark and seductive, expect nothing less than a triple-cross in the explosive all-new Ghostwalker novel by #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan… In an underground club, a high-ranking public official spends his secret nights indulging in fantasies as exciting as they are depraved. For a seductive employee of the Dungeon, it’s her job to fulfill them. But she’s playing a far more dangerous game—one of blackmail, politics, and murder that reaches into the shadow world of the Ghostwalkers, and the creation of a spectacular, one-of-a-kind new weapon of defense. But when a dictator makes his own catastrophic moves, the Ghostwalkers have no choice but to bring in two major players—a man and woman both driven by passion and revenge. Both expendable. Both with nothing left to lose.

"I love the Ghostwalker's Series! When I read the book with Saber I had hoped there would be a book with Thorn. Truthfully, I can't remember who Sam is in the previous books. Thorn is absolutely awesome. I also loved all the the Japanese culture and Samurai that were in the book. Each book in this series is different and I love seeing how the "teams" evolve. There were only updates on teams one and two in this book which isn't surprising since the last several books were team three. Overall I loved the book. I stayed up all night the first night because I was just too into the book to stop reading!"

" Great installment. I just got heartily sick of reading how delicate, how graceful, etc Azami was. Add in her every movement seemed to flow blah blah blah, and I wanted to scream at a few points. "

" I loved this book. I loved the hero and the heroine. What I really loved about this book was that Sam wasn't like the other heroes from the Ghostwalker series who make the heroine stay in the background and run for cover. Sam believed in Azami and her capablities as a fighter. "

" The author identifies many reasons that the pairing in this book could not have been one that was intentionally manipulated. The resolution of this plot element seemed more contrived than usual in the series. The ending was very abrupt. "
