" I loved the beginning of this book with Jacques being buried alive while surviving on the blood of rats. These Carpathians are no joke! Anyhow, the story line with Shea was good, especially how it evolved throughout the book. I love a romance with a twist and Christine delivered! "

" This was okay. There were parts that i liked and parts that i didn't like. The thing i liked was the concept and the romance of course and i liked the action too but what turned me off about this book was the women. Shea in particular. I'm all for a women being independent and want to do for herself but she did it to the point of annoyance. Everything Jacques wanted or needed or tried to get her to understand, there was always an argument and always defiance. ANNOYING! Really? Most things she argued about was stupid and unnecessary. Always stubborn and couldn't trust anything he said for nothing. Overall i didn't really care for the book but it wasn't to bad "

" Typical Feehan, not A+ writing, but the story line is intriguing and I want to see what happens to the Carpathian society. The sexy pieces are OK but a little too long and repetitive. "

" I started to read this one but it read so close to the first that I couldn't get through it. Now that I am deep into paranormal romances I might give it another shot. As luck would have it my Nook I bought has these books on it.Maybe someday I will get around to trying again. "
