"This is the fifth book in the Bourne Series. The last two are not written by Robert Ludlum and are not quite as good but Lustbader does a good job because I don't want to put the book down. He jumps between characters every couple of pages and I can't wait to see how they are all related."

“Audie Award nominee Jeremy Davidson does an outstanding job creating distinctive voices for the multitude of American, British, and Eastern European characters.”
— School Library Journal" Sorry. This was a slog to finish. Not the best of the series. "
— Jim, 2/20/2014" Entertaining, but ultimately disappointing. Lustbader's Bourne lacks the complexity of Ludlum's Bourne. "
— Chris, 2/20/2014" I really enjoyed the early Bourne books, but this was painful. "
— Cheryl, 2/18/2014" Lustbader brings things to life, and keeps Bourne going. Rich character developement and twists and turns made it hard to put down. "
— Brian, 2/16/2014" I love the Bourne series so I was pretty excited about this. It was good, but I think my expectations were too high. "
— Donna, 2/14/2014" Read via book on CD. The Bourne novels have gotten progressively worse, and this author definitely does not have the writing talent of Robert Ludlum. This book had a very weak plot and several random plots that were barely connected to the story, and one that had absolutely nothing to do with the story. Nothing ever tied together, and the end was boring and anti-climactic. "
— TAMI, 2/5/2014" Pretty good, lots of twists and turns. Seems that the book is a little on the fanciful side for my tastes, but I suppose it would be really hard to keep up the reputation of Jason Bourne "
— Josh, 2/3/2014" Can't get enough... "
— Kathy, 12/13/2013" Thrilling. I wonder how Indonesian translator in charge of this book will translate the nuance created here :) "
— Ivan, 12/2/2013" Mildly entertaining - The Bourne "franchise" apparently passed to other author(s) - this one is by Eric Van Lustbader (what a great name; should be writing bodice rippers). I actually prefer the movies to the books. "
— Scott, 11/15/2013" Lustbader did a brilliant job maintaining Ludlum's voice in this story. "
— Kathy, 11/12/2013" lustbader bourne..ludlum.. what can i say? "
— Arun, 11/10/2013" This author isn't as good as the original Bourne series author. That being said, the storyline was still interesting and still felt like Bourne. "
— Tisha, 10/2/2013" less than the previous bourne books but still pretty good. "
— mike, 9/26/2013" Best of the 'new Bourne' books but no match for the original Ludlum books. Entertaining, won't change your life... And there's nothing wrong with that! "
— Chesley, 9/16/2013" Was okay, nothing special. The end of the book where I assume the author was trying to give a cool twist was weak. All I could say was "yah right" "
— Suzy, 9/6/2013" Good reading, similar to the movies. LONG book, about 670 pages. "
— Fish1224, 7/12/2013" Unusually, the Bourne movies, which I love (well, the first and second anyway), are miles better than the novels. "
— Colleen, 4/27/2013" I love the series and have already started The Bourne Deception. "
— Karl, 3/15/2013" As always loads of twists & turns very enjoyable "
— Colleen, 2/7/2013" I like Lustbader, I like Bourne, what can go wrong, worth a few hours of fun. "
— John, 12/7/2012" Not as good as the early books, but still worth the read "
— Claire, 10/26/2012" I like the bourne series but not by this author. I frankly didn't finish it. Didn't appreciate some of the language and didn't think the writing was very good. "
— Shelly, 9/13/2012" I didn't expect to actually want to finish reading this book. I picked it up on a whim. I don't regret it. I enjoyed every page! I definitely want to read the "The Bourne Betrayal" & "The Bourne Deception". I'm looking forward to seeing more of Arkadin, too! "
— Ree, 8/23/2012" Okay. Interesting. Not as good as the orginal series, in my opinion. "
— Papaparsons, 2/18/2011" Listed to this with my husband while driving to the coast. It was okay. I like the shortened movie versions better..Lots of language. "
— Rachelle, 2/3/2011" I think it would be cool to read Bourne books while listening to the movie soundtracks on an ipod! <br/> "
— Brian, 1/23/2011" lustbader bourne..ludlum.. what can i say? "
— Arun, 12/30/2010" I really enjoyed the early Bourne books, but this was painful. "
— Cheryl, 11/20/2010" great book alot of action and good twists "
— Ludwig, 10/18/2010" Number three volume in Eric Van Lustbader's new Jason Bourne series. A good Jason Bourne read. "
— Larry, 10/15/2010" Lustbader did a brilliant job maintaining Ludlum's voice in this story. "
— Kathy, 9/6/2010" Good villian in the book "
