This book has really got me thinking as I currently attend one of the video-pastor, program heavy, "entertaining" churches constructively criticized in this book. Lots to process and re-read. I know the author personally and deeply respect him as well as his genuine passion for global discipleship. This book is filled with wonderful insight and Godly direction. Check it out!"

About David Platt
David Platt is pastor of the Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama, and author of the New York Times bestseller Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream. A well-known Bible expositor, Platt holds three advanced degrees, including a PhD from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife live in Birmingham with their children.
