About the Authors
John Piper (DTheol, University of Munich) is the founder and teacher of DesiringGod.org and the chancellor of Bethlehem College and Seminary. He served for thirty-three years as the senior pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is the author of more than fifty books, including Desiring God, Don’t Waste Your Life, This Momentary Marriage, A Peculiar Glory, and Reading the Bible Supernaturally.
David Mathis serves as executive editor at DesiringGod.org, pastor at Cities Church, and adjunct professor at Bethlehem College and Seminary. He and his wife, Megan, have three children.
Louie Giglio, a passionate communicator and innovative thinker, is a bestselling author and the founder of Passion Conferences, a collegiate movement calling people around the world to lives that make much of God. As a part of the Passion Network, Louie also heads sixstepsrecords, a worship-label partner of EMI CMG. In addition, Louie speaks throughout the world for various events. Louie and his wife, Shelley, live in Atlanta, Georgia, where they attend North Point Community Church.
Ed Stetzer is director of
LifeWay Research and missiologist in residence at LifeWay Christian Resources
in Nashville, Tennessee. He holds two masters and doctoral degrees and has
written dozens of respected articles and books, including Planting Missional Churches, Breaking
the Missional Code, Compelled by Love,
and Comeback Churches.
David Platt is pastor of the Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama, and author of the New York Times bestseller Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream. A well-known Bible expositor, Platt holds three advanced degrees, including a PhD from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife live in Birmingham with their children.
