"JAK (and her pseudos) is my favourite author. Afer a couple of months without reading one of her books, I understand better why I love her so much! It feels good to read a lively story with heroes and secondary characters very, very nice. And the suspense is well done, I didn't know who was the villain until the end. Bravo Jayne, a good work even if the world of Harmony is less appealing to me."

" Excellent finish to the trilogy, and an interesting introduction (for me, anyway) to the world of Harmony. Might be something worth checking out at one point, others in that part of the series. "
— Christine, 2/13/2014" I liked this trilogy. This book is on another planet and in the future but manages not to be strange. "
— Vickie, 2/6/2014" This was a quick read and a decent ending to the trilogy. Typical Jayne Castle writing. "
— Daphne, 2/2/2014" This is the conclusion of the Darklight Trilogy, that began with Burning Lamp, set in Victorian London, featuring Griffin Winters, crime lord, and Adelaide Pyne, busybody do-gooder. The second book, Fired Up, takes the burning lamp to contemporary Seattle, Washington and P.I. Chloe Harper and business tycoon Jack Winters. Now the burning lamp has made its way to the future world of Harmony, where alien PSI has enhanced the human population's psychic powers and P.I. Marlowe Jones is hired by Adam Winters to track down the burning lamp, which is missing again. Lots of whizz bang action ensues while Adam solidifies his position as head the Ghost Hunters Guild and Marlowe tries to keep her P.I. business running in a world where everyone already has some type of psychic enhancement. This trilogy was a clever creation by Jayne Ann Krentz, who took her nom de plume writing to another level, using all three of her identities to write a series of books spanning centuries. "
— Viccy, 2/2/2014" 3rd in series; quick read with a few new twists. Liked the 2nd one best so far by her pen name Amanda Quick. "
— Ruth, 2/1/2014" Quick read. Very predictable. Unfortunately, this series is becoming to formula so the read is very predictable. "
— Rebecca, 1/31/2014" I have the most trouble reading Jayne Castle. Why is that. It was a very good read. I liked the main characters and the dust bunnies are a nice touch. The hero and heroine were very good together and the story was enjoyable. It deserved the 5 stars. "
— Steven, 1/20/2014" Not much of a mystery or villain in this one. Fun, but not too taxing on the brain. "
— Sarah, 1/20/2014" This is a very satisfying addition to this series. "
— Lea, 1/13/2014" Back to Amber...but this time Guild and Arcane are working together. Finally... "
— Mary, 12/9/2013" Best of the Dreamlight Trilogy...Her books are not the most sexy or exciting but I really like them. So interconnected are the series and the heros are always Alpha males with a sentimental side not threatened by a strong smart female. "
— Virginia, 12/4/2013" Narrated by Tanya Eby - Narration 5* "
— Brenda, 12/3/2013" I simply cannot get enough of dustbunnies! Jayne!? Must have more! :D "
— Sherry, 12/1/2013" So Harmony is an interesting place. I liked the characters - wondering what the next one will bring. I'm looking forward to reading Fallon's story though - and coming back to present day. "
— Sara, 12/30/2012" Exciting story but the balance between romance and plot wasn't quite right. Cute alien pet. "
— Kay, 8/21/2012" It was a really good book but i think they are still aliens :D but other than that i was suprized that a Winters fell for a Jones. but now i want a dust bunny they seem so cute :) "
— Tabitha, 1/4/2012" liked this series, love the dust bunnies. jayne ann krentz has never written a book i did not like "
— Rhonda, 12/21/2011" These books are getting a little bit of sameness to them. But I still enjoyed the book. "
— Jhd21181, 4/4/2011" 3rd in Burning Lamp ser, Marlowe and Adam w/ the burning lamp "
— Michelle, 4/1/2011" I wish I'd have read this book instead of listening to the audiobook. The reader was awful...she just had no sense of timing or character voice and I think I'd have liked the story better if I'd have read it my own way. "
— MRS, 3/17/2011" This author is consistently entertaining. I am never blown away, but I am never disappointed either. "
— Erika, 3/15/2011" This was a really werid book..But in the end i liked it <br/>But only gave it 3 stars so not the best book but still good :) "
— Loretta, 3/3/2011" Good solid wrap-up to the Dreamlight Trilogy. I expected a little more suspense involving the lamp, especially given events in the first two books. The focus was more on Guild politics. Overall, a fun read. "
— Daffodil, 3/1/2011" I was going to give Midnight Crystal three stars simply because the world building feels so real, I'm taking it for granted. Really enjoyable. Love the dust bunny. Found the characters appealing. "
— Jenny, 2/21/2011" Never disappointed she has such an awesome imagination and her worlds come to life and poll you in. I can never get enough and always waiting for her next great book under any of the aliases. I'd love a dustbunny! "
— Val, 2/18/2011" Just when you think there are no more stories in the Arcane Society, Jayne Ann Krentz w/a Jayne Castle finds a new thread to tug. Weaving plot lines into trilogies within the overall tapestry of the broader series, Krentz delivers once again. "
— Silver, 2/8/2011" Quick read. Very predictable. Unfortunately, this series is becoming to formula so the read is very predictable. "
— Rebecca, 2/4/2011" I usually really enjoy her books. This one was ok. I'm a little tired of the arcane society and I wish she would do a few similar to her older books. "
— Rachel, 1/25/2011" I really like this series. Too bad I have to wait for the second one to come out. That's the problem with using different authors. Oh well! "
— Teresa, 1/22/2011" Another delightful, quick read. :-) "
