"Yay, I love these books! I do hate the villain in this, and that Alanna had to have a 'mage duel' that felt very unresolved. I think my only complaint about this series is that the pacing is super incredibly quick. There is no weight to Alanna's adventures. But whatever, they are still fun."

About Trini Alvarado
Trini Alvarado is an American actress best known for her feature film roles in Little Women, The Frighteners, and Paulie, for which she was nominated for an ALMA Award. As a youth, she appeared as Melinda in the Broadway performance of Runaways.
