"Yay, I love these books! I do hate the villain in this, and that Alanna had to have a 'mage duel' that felt very unresolved. I think my only complaint about this series is that the pacing is super incredibly quick. There is no weight to Alanna's adventures. But whatever, they are still fun."

" Always makes me sad the series has ended, but the world which Tamora has build continues. Read Wild Magic next. "

— Ami, 2/11/2014" Think I liked the series as a whole a little bit better when I was younger, but they are still enjoyable books. "

— Kimberly, 1/25/2014" 3.5? 4? I don't know! It's somewhere in that range "
— Leina, 1/18/2014" I like the way Pierce ended this series. There was closure, but not an end, if that makes sense. She left herself open to possibilities. "
— Thespian999, 1/16/2014" loved it. excellent read. still go back and read often "
— Lindsey, 12/27/2013" good series. really good author. if you read one of her books, you have to read all of them "
— Nanci, 12/8/2013" this is the 4th and last book in the series. Haven't finished it yet. It is juvenile fiction and pretty good. Has a solid female character. "

— Daniel, 2/2/2013" I love these audio versions "
— Kate, 1/9/2013" This was a good end to the series. When I finished I thought this would be a great book for a mother and daughter to discuss. I would recommend this as a solid book for pre-teen & teenage girls to read. "
— Gigi, 10/21/2012" This book made up for book 3. I loved Alanna's story! "

— Violentmonkey41, 6/28/2012" Enjoyable ending to this series. Though it's the only one I read in print and I think I slightly prefer Pierce in audiobook. "
— Caroline, 6/6/2012" This story was almost two books/ stories rolled into one. There were a few new characters and one in-particular, Liam Iornarm. I was slightly irratated that him and Alanna had a fling. It's like, every avalible man just 'has' to be her love intrest. "
— Aimee, 11/11/2011" overall this book was good, i didnt like the ending scene between alanna and duke roger. "
— Alana, 8/3/2011" It seems like all of Tamora Pierce's books are difficult for me to settle into initially and then impossible to put down. So glad I finally got around to finishing the last book in this great quartet. "
— Jen, 7/29/2011" Loved Liam Ironarm, but disliked the end. There shouldn't be one to good books or series. "

— Ashie, 5/5/2011" A very good book! It is very sad though. I still wish Alanna and Jon stayed together but still one of the best books I have ever read! "
— *Sara*, 5/3/2011" My favorite of the Lioness Quartet. Alanna is all grown up and in a few short months she achieves wha others wouldn't in a lifetime. "
— Shardae, 4/30/2011" See book #1 for thoughts - Alanna the first adventure "
— Olivia, 4/17/2011" i love song of the lioness series.. the only thing i didn't like is that Alanna didn't end up with Jon. for me, they are the better couple.. i could have given this a higher rating, but i really didn't like that she ended up with George instead of Jon :( "
— Chi, 4/7/2011" A good ending. I liked how it all fell together and how she finally realized who was best for her. "
— Lia, 4/6/2011" Oh man, YA fantasy always gets me because even though you KNOW it's gonna happen, I'm never quite ready for the killing-off-a-beloved-character thing. ::sniffle:: "
— Vicki, 4/1/2011" Alanna's story finally completes its circle. <br/>The series is very well written and the story flows pleasantly. "
— Thenia, 3/26/2011" I truly loved and still love these books because even though the main characters were teenagers they behave with a decided lack of teenage angst. "
